I know this has brought up many times before, but this really needs to be addressed.

Its to protect the planets owner, ya it sucks when we are invading but its worth it when someone is invading one of ours.. Ive had alot of bad experiences also, with some very good VM planets..

In the spirit of fairness, if I left my planets undefended then it's ripe for the picking. I may not like it but it only stands to reason that a planet with absolutely no defenses can be taken with a 100% success rate.

I guess to make it "fair", even if your planet has an absurd defense, like mission exotics and mission dysons, there's still a 10% chance to take them :/

I mean that if there's always a chance to keep your least defended planet, then there should also always be a chance to lose your most heavily defended

there's also a virtually equal chance to KEEP both

I believe the way the equation works is currently like this, assuming you have some attack.

Think of it like in DnD, even if you should by all means strike a killing blow if you roll a 1 you weapon flys out of your hand. And even if you should never be able to hit a guy if you a roll a 20 you somehow manage to actually hit him.

But the planet has literally zero defense. There is nothing stopping my ship from flying in a conquering it. In fact, if this game was a super advanced virtual reality game, I could've just announced to the planet that they're now working for me because they have nothing to stop me!

you'd have thought the flaming pony would've made it a guaranteed thing, along with the 0 defense...

In all seriousness i agree, if a planet has 0 defense it should be an automatic invasion. If they left their planet defenseless it deserves to be taken.

like i said... they weren't intimidated.... it was a 1 in 10 chance for them to shrug off your invasion

less than that i've heard of 1 to 2 percent chance from low ranks hitting a mission exotic from an inactive player
