I am curious... is there anything you can do to increases yoru chances of getting uncommon, rare and elite npc's? or is it completely random? I am rank 83, have 382 scan and seem to get common after common after common. I average about 8 common disables to getting an uncommon. I have had times where I have had 16 and even 18 commons in a row before getting an uncommon / rare. I have only ever had 1 elite, never got the Luzuli factory (which is supposed to come around rank 50 or so). First ever Elite I got was last night |

Nothing! Muhahahaha! Seriously though. If you don't mind missing the cloaked ones you can lower your scan to avoid Rogue Tech Collectors, and thus get more kills. Or increase your scan (highest ever needed is 600?) and go for them cloaked elites. Install more/better weapons. Switch to Drannik/Konqul. (More kills=More Elites) Basically, boost attack. Oh. And get the ability that purges your battle tab. |

the only thing that really increases ur chances ofnpcs are high atack andhigh energy the more atk u have the more npc's u kill and the more energy u have the longer u can keep killing them.... other then that its just random luck |

Having less commons *may* increase the % of uncommon+, but I haven't proven this yet. |

i think ur right binary..... i read ur previous posts about the amounts of npc u got for each type nd i found ur numbers and mine to be way different, i kill roughly 200-500 npc a day and avg AT LEAST 1 puifier and 1 pdo or terraformer a day..... while others kill the same ammount and hardly get crap.... i usually get 10 iso runners on an average day while people struggle just to find enught to make one irradiator... i dunno if the rng just likes me or what but aside from the occasional flame hawks and tech collectors i never really see any commons except for the little blue three shot kill shadin chargers |

fewer mission NPCs. If you go by rares/level then more tactical officers to engineers. Decks are for suckers. By end game you have more hulls/shields/attack/defense from artifacts and a huge income of it that requires no upkeep anyways. You can lower your HYPERBOLIC TANGENT damage cap too. You only actually need decks for max scan. You guys all ****ed up and should restart. You can just auto-level anyways. I'll be banned for saying this. You can neglect more than half of research, all of minerals... you just need to shoot right the *** up there and stay there. |

the mission ship parts and npc ship parts are much cheaper on upkeep tho then the normal tier items tho...... thats why i keep my shipp low, strong enough to kill any npcs, but not so strong that i have a 5 billion dollar upkeep, just gotta balance it |

auto-level? and so how does one get "less commons"? |

JKGreene76 wrote: auto-level? and so how does one get "less commons"? you get more of everything with more engineers. rank points spent on tactical officers improve one half of your stats contributing to killing. the other is energy. Points spent on energy invariably improve a stat by a larger percentage in a multiplicitave output equation where you want the bigger number. your attack is bigger than your energy. It's true in PVP too, just use an EMP. Not only that, but there is a hyperbolic damage cap anyways. it is 2.5 times the level of the NPC. that means if the cap is 500 and you do 400, thatdoubling your attack will get you 450 damage. You're an idiot if you don't get engineers. It might make a number, namely your rank arbitrarily high, but if you get more rank points from production anyways, just think what a kajillion terraformers and a kajillion planet slots will do. If you get 4.0 xp/energy (easy) all you need is 10 engineers (5 rank points) each level. Wow, go click, yay. That means your energy would be your level with a zero at the end, not easy. You can restart or do it oldschool. If you get more energy than that you can use it as fast as you can click on your base or on just leveling with missions, which will save you eons on the actual clicking. There is a lot of clicking. Spending money on the game becomes essentially pointless at that point. FATHERs or anything. You would have to be an @$$jack to not play WoW if you want to literally click a button though, so you better finish all the missions, contribute a nearly infinite amount of energy to your own base to get a million extra AP every day to get those rescued prisoners that you need and then, well, you just click and kill and become invincible... Here I go to get banned. Cut and paste and make this make sense. If you have a surplus of 500 energy you can just spend 1500 a level on a 3 xp/energy mission or just level all you want to get tactical officers to get rid of your energy surplus. Basically, the idiots that haven't exploited this will be totally screwed once the door gets slammed shut. |

it's pretty much a question of what to neglect and the answer is everything. The other question is how late you are or if you spent thousands of dollars leveling to get tactical officers, in which case you are just plumb screwed. This is basically how to screw the #$*#... until it gets nerfed and WHOMever has an unfair advantage like every other nerf in the game. Just think how nice it would be without flamehawks or tech collectors. |

one of the main reasons its nice to make a pure artifact small ship build is that the cost to settle a planet goes up by a cube function. Theres no reason to have anything but your 17x colossal irradiated mining planets. Having a volcanic or barren planet is a liability by the end of the game. Research with only 3 or 4 of the trees can be done with android scientists even. It isn't proven, but it is totally legit and untouchable. |

I wouldn't spend money doing any of what I said though. A dysonian will complain and make it totally unfeasible. |

so in a nut shell apply all rank points to energy, until a point in time when your energy is full you'll rank once right before your out of energy then repeat. ranking as many times as you feel like click, click, clicking away ? |

LOL! OLLLLLLLD News Buddy. People have been talking about how to auto rank for oh IDK about 8 months. Good luck on getting banned spreading ancient info. BTW: 4.0 is NOT that easy esp. w/ Flame Hawks and Rogue Tech Collectors, and RSL implants no longer dropping. 3.x is relatively easy. But you need to keep upping your attack too, you have way over simplified the whole concept to f w/ the newbs. Super high ranks won't get you much if you can't PvP, and keep upping your ship. -Q |
