![]() What I had for special building with Shields... 750 min and I'm not sure if I had one oblivion. ![]() Showing the clusters to take out my shields. And that I was on the planet. ![]() Me defending a planet... with my current cloak and legion bonus % ![]() Showing the passive cloak on it. And if he finding planets with 7000+ scan.. Then what the point of putting on cloak. From this point out.. I'm not doing it. Thanks! FYI.. I'm on the fence to continue playing. This isn't the first well defended/cloak planet I have lost. It gets old. And something needs to be fixed. Darth has been nice about it. Maybe you make it where the legion base has to be disabled before you can take planets? As of now... this would be the best time to take any of my planets you have scanned since I will breaking for a bit on this.. |

dont stop playing... dan needs a bigger team to help him. im not sure what his position on that is... but he is introduction content in the wrong order. he adds in a scan % module, but dosnt give us any way to counter it on our planets. he gives us more scanning tech (MONTHS ago... the japanese are advancing tech in real life faster than tech is advancing in this game) and gives us no way to cloak our planets efficiently (this was back when attack/defense structures took up 2-8 space each) so hundreds were lost... its very disappointing. but i agree with you. there DOES need to be a way to defend planets efficiently against saboteurs, and cloak them efficiently in general. |

When scanning for planets, there is the chance to find ANY planet based on # of planets already scanned and the person's scan value.... Once that succeeds then there's a simple check done against the cloak value on the planet... if scan is greater than cloak, he gets the scan, else he gets a msg saying something along the lines of missing the scan because of the cloak The only reason to add cloak to a planet is to reduce how often you'll have to temp-flux the planet |

My next highest cloaked planet is 1900+ cloak with the legion bonus 3986. Won't be long before that is found too.. |

If I recall correctly, there were 2 Obviation Barriers, and 1 Planetary Shield for defense. There was 3 total defense structures, I do know that (hence the 3 CCMs, why make it hard on myself?). The cloaking satellite had to be an Inverse-Flux because I don't have it researched yet and it got trashed because of No Effect. So 810 passive + 800 satellite + 1400 (ship, can't quite read exactly) + 106% (legion) = 6200ish 5 Continuum Analyzer Mk3 = 5 * 960 = 4800 Therefore with a couple of artifact buffs and no other special scan mods, Chakotay didn't stand a chance of safeguarding the planet from anybody with the scan tech maxed and the credits to buy them. I just got lucky that it was my scan that found it (scanned at 7667 or so). I really do think that the Planetary Cloaks should ALL be size 2 like the attack and defense. At least then you have a chance of hiding a planet from all but the very highest ranks. |
