Do add an estimated timer to downtime (eg time to downtime: 4 hours)
Perhaps for the next downtime if it takes too much time to do it for the upcoming downtime.
Some people are just too lazy to convert. Thanks.

Maintenance was canceled for last night. There was no downtime. A counter is a good idea though.
