Forgive me if this suggestion has been made, but it has been made even more clear that it is a valid suggestion now that base combat has been launched.

I do fully believe nulls should be trade-able, especially with base combat. Nulls are NECESSARY to disable opponents at higher levels. They are less damaging than Time Manipulators. And now that red badges are necessary to lock enemy bases, it is only right and proper that the legion should be able to contribute to the earning of those badges for the person who spends them via contribution of the nulls that said person had to burn to earn them. 5 red badges is upwards of 10 nulls. That's if the disabled parties weren't online.

Please comment and +1 if you agree.

I couldn't agree more, as I have stated many times, I rarely get a null fuse, and in total have gotten 81 red badges, that is barely enough for 2 MK I cannons, 40 of those were spent on a dominion before the new ones came out, and EVERYONE has traps, except for the few people and I mean FEW people that are careless and don't put traps up.

No way.. Tradeable TMs without any limit was a headache in the past and it was forced to be modified to 50 actions max..

I like null fuse as non-tradeable but if you want it to be tradeable then it gotta be 50 actions per day max like TM then it'll be good balance. :)

Anything that might let someone start to catch Noci is of course out of balance.

Free trade is the best system.

Your absolutely right, because legions who have level three bases, which your legion can target, have the same balanced AP production. Therefore them being able to share their limited resource is fair.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I think you are aloof to any one other than your top legion.

I agree , i only sometimes get 1 null fuse a day and a ship will have 2-3 traps... When i hit a halc ill use my Null ,then just hit his Kv so i always waste Nulls thats way,

So +1 for me.

hold on,

Believe me its not Dysonians VS the whole GALAXY. I don't think NOCI is trying rain on anyone's parade.

Lets discuss this without any legion naming please unless you want this thread to be locked so soon.

There are real points in the pro and cons of having the nulls being trade-able. Discuss it but lets not speak as though a single legion has an advantage on these artifacts.

As of right now this is how i see it.

People who love PVP: Dont have as much NULL that they need (some sort of control for them not to be banging on everyone's shield and hull
making nulls tradable will let pvp hungry players on a rampage and disable everyone on sight. I believe that dan wants a bit of control here

People who dont really PVP: have about 20 -50 nulls sitting in their cargo holds. But i bet you sooner or later they will just run through those supply

Right now lower ranks people have an advantage vs higher rank people and that is the availability of traps vs nulls if your lower ranks your red badge production can be don in a few days when your higher rank you have to wait a while because of the null control factor. As it is right now lower ranking people are allowed to "enjoy" game contents that higher ranking people are not enjoying.

From those I have talked to this is not true, in the fact that those nearing rank 100 are almost getting no nulls and running into traps. Considering that it requires 5 Red badges to lock, I think it better to let those who do pvp be able to get the red badges. Even in our legion we have guys who do not PVP, but they wish to support with artifacts that they have no use for.

I really doubt that trading of nulls would cause aggressive PvPers to go on any more of a rampage than we already do. There are still timers to deal with, and Dan dealt with the concern of TMs being used en masse by putting a limit on how many total offensive actions an individual can take in a day (guess what, that limit since it is applied to offensive actions and not the actual TMs means it already applies to nulls, too). We are also limited by energy, and the fact that we probably like to get in on those NPCs, and complete some missions for cool gadgets, too - those all take energy, and PvP consumes it. So, there are things in place already that would prevent the heinous rampages that some fear.

From my own experience (at Rank 267), I find nulls to be so rare that I spend most of the day nerfed by either KVTs, Halcs, QFTs, some combination of the three, or all of them. And I'm talking about 6-10 hours a day debuffed by them. This not only makes badge hunting difficult, but NPC hunting.

The game name is Galaxy Legion. This implies it's supposed to be about teamwork. Trading of nulls encourages teamwork.

not a good idea, I do not consider myself a diehard pvper I will throw down when I have to, no mater the size of my opponent. But I would go non stop if I had an endless supply of nulls.

As it is now I wait till I have about 10 before doing any solo pvp so that I am sure to get the kill, having them tradable well lets just say would be a bad idea.

So far it is only the Dynos saying it is a bad idea, but yet you guys get considerable more ap to pull from thus more nulls than any legion behind you. I still fail to see how limiting it has leveled the field, other than letting those farmers not get their way. As it is I am almost rank 400 I think it is fair to say I am about mid way of most of the players and I only see a null every few days or so. Again this requirement of red badges for base tracking make the lack of nulls just ridiculous for any one smaller than the top legions.

There is terrain for agreement.
Nocifer asks for a cap.
Better a cap on numbers than no exchange at all.

50 null artifacts a day is considerable compared to none;
I vote for the compromise unless someone comes up with a better idea.

Regards,
Plamok

the artifact points for them can always be increased, make them a bit more available from the draw, and make them tradable.

i enjoy my pvp action and i am split in that it would be great having more nulls per shipment but trading well i think it will cause a upsurge in pvp as i would definitely use this if changed to its full advantage thus +1 for more Null per shipment and -1 being able to trade for it.Getting kills on lower levels below 100 is easy and it gets harder I am on 160 and at least 75% of my victims have some kind of trap on it and i cannot see that a player ranked above 200 would not have any traps so i see remric point that it takes away the fun for them. It is definitely a catch twenty two situation.

I'm not a dysonian. But, I agree with them that Null fuses should not be tradeable.

My last 59 of 60 disables have been to the dysonians. So, I've fought them a time or 2. They have a lot of high arti prod guys who don't pvp a lot who could supply it to heavy pvp er's like blitz and krauzen whose artie production isn't that high. My point is that making it tradeable would benefit them more than it would hurt them.

You can always do what people had to do before null fuses. By using team work have a legion mate run traps for you.

This is something I wanted a non-dysonian to say. and everything about what frail said was true.

our top artifact producers are not heavy on pvp (thats including me) if nulls were to be trade-able I can easily pass my nulls to our top pvp people and that would really create havoc among our enemies.

Exactly!!! Null is working perfectly fine right now. Making it tradeable will cause more harm than any good to GL community.

I'm forced to agree - nulls are fine as they are. Tradeable = MULTI EXPLOIT if nothing else.

Just use a trap probe or something, or get your artifact production up.

How about just increasing the draw rate % chance on Null Fuses from our production points but keeping them non-transferable to avoid exploitation? I know I would appreciate seeing a few more in my inventory. :)
