If a NPC can shoot at me until it drops how come I can't shoot at a NPC until I drop? I mean I am NPC hunting and I have an entire 500 hull left and it says my Hull is too damaged? Why is the NPCs hull not too damaged? It has 1 HP left and no shields......and it will shoot out my hull on till I disable it.

What I am saying is is to remove the, "Your hull is too damaged" stopper thing.

It's not attacking you, you're attacking it. Charging into someone's guns and shooting at someone charging at you are different; the former you usually don't do when you're near-death, the latter you very well might.

just so you know.... you'll be unable to attack if your hull falls below 10% of the current max
(haven't tested whether i can attack at exactly 10%.... so hard to fine-tune my hull to that degree of accuracy)


anyway... if you want to keep fighting without repairing just yet, uninstall some hull modules.... it'll give you a few more shots per 5-minute repair timer, at the cost of damage to those modules... heck you might even disable yourself
don't forget to reinstall the hull modules before you repair... or you'll be cursing at yourself for the next 5 minutes
