I have an ally that needs help planet wise because this person has had no luck with them so far, so I was wondering why isn't there a way to send a Planets Coordinates (so they can see the planet on their planets tab) without your entire legion seeing it?
I have a large legion with many higher levels which would probably take the planet before the intended person could, and when the mistake is made, it will probably be irreversible unless the person has (5) Galaxy Points.
This would be useful to others as well with the same problem as this or other cases.
What do you guys think?

I agree. already I have been shared 2 planets, where one of them was taken by a higher level player because of my Legion member's 200 people. Thankfully I was able to take it for myself because they did not put defenses on it, but they already planned to keep it because they tried to flux it. (remember that fluxing does not remove it from planet shares)

I like this idea as well. I personally have had no problems with directed shares being intercepted yet, but I have been on the other side of things where someone sent a Colonize Planet share that must have been intended for someone else because I was attacked shortly after taking it, though I was able to hold it...
Until they add a "Gift Planet" option, though, I would suggest using the "Reserved, Don't Colonize" option when planet sharing... those in your legion who play with any sense of fair play will respect the reservation and not take it.
Also, since folks in your legion also have to be your facebook friends, you can message them your intent out-of-game so that you are on at the same time so that folks have less chance to intercept an uninhabited planet.
Thanks for reading!

Those who attacks planets with the message "reserved, don't colonize" needs a whacking. It was reserved, so the reserved guy took it, now the planet is being bombarded... rude.
But then, personal sharing of certain planets has it's ups and downs. Ups - shares are SAFE Downs - a legion could be backstabbing you. Legion A shares your planet privately to Legion B, Legion B invades, you have no idea it was due to your legion's share. Legion B in Legion A's legion, Legion A in your legion, Legion B enemy to you.

Honestly if the planets good enough and someone from your legion took it from a person it was supposed to be given too. unfriend him and take it back.

Oh is it wasting? because last time I checked taking a planet back can have some good XP come from it.....
