Yes the CT lab is a great way to get rid of extra artifacts but as some have stated, for individual artifacts their cost can be too high for what they give. Changing it to a contribution and distribution system would be more efficient and player friendly. Allowing multiple players to contribute artifacts towards the construction of a CT artifact would allow the base to store them as well to give out as rewards or assistance to their members. This would also allow for trade pacts between legions for CT blueprints and artifacts. |

Multis could be a problem yes, but given how breakthroughs are found in the CT lab i doubt this would be a huge issue unless someone manages to make 5+ multis and get them all up to rank 150+ |

What a dumb reason to say this is a bad idea. "artifacts aren't meant to be easy to get" is a horrid response to bringing a legion together to further their power. Why is it such a great idea to have a CT lab that requires the full work of the legion to get up and running with cool artifacts but suddenly it's not ok to allow the entire legion to work towards obtaining them allowing it only on a per player basis. That aside acquiring these artifacts does not reduce in difficulty because you have multiple people working towards them. In the end you still end up with relatively few of them that are stored in the base until given out. Not only does this promote further team work inside legions but allows for further diplomacy within legions. Whats more, this allows for even more elaborate artifacts to be added to the CT that require even greater supplies to create, perhaps even base artifacts. And should you all still be stuck on the idea that the CT lab is a solo thing despite requiring a legion working together to create then how about another kind of CT lab that allows for legion collaboration. |

if the player who it is going to was set before construction began an that player had to be loyal to the legion for at least 2 weeks then maybe this idea could work |

Perhaps all members of a legion are given the chance to start a "Research Project", whereby they name two things: The artifact they are researching, and the recipient of that artifact upon its completion. Thus, every member of the legion could see who started the project, the artifact being worked on, and who the recipient would be. A list of projects would be viewable by all members of the legion, along with the option to start a new project. So you could go to your CT lab, contribute artifacts to 2 different projects, then start your own project all at the same time. Perhaps the number of projects allowed to be ongoing at once could be equal to the current Base Level? Or, to allow greater flexibility, the maximum number of projects could be Base level * 2. |

The options could be Distribution: Once an artifact is complete it enters the base vault for officers (or just the leader depending on permissions) to distribute to any player they see fit. This is trumped by total contribution* Individual Contribution: Highest contributor for that one artifact gets it Total contribution: If a player has enough to complete the project solo this player gets the artifact regardless of whether distribution is set as an option or not (current form of getting CT artifacts) Player selection: Each player would have their own ability to give artifacts towards another player in the legions completion of a CT artifact. This would be a button in the CT lab to see completion by other players. It would list all the players (similar to how they are displayed in the legion tab) and instead of name/rank/position/status it would read name/rank/position/CT artifact X where CT artifact X would be a drop down box to each artifact that has been discovered at the CT lab. This column would also display the number of artifacts that player had towards the completion of the artifact allowing any player to help another who had started the project. This would also allow for an "ask for legion assistance" type thing that we currently have with boss/rare/elite enemies for legion members to ask for assistance in building. The ideas of Dolon and Sparky could also be reasonable ways to distribute CT artifacts. |

WHAT would be a possible better system is that players can just contribute artis to another person trying to get that Discovery artifact. BUT that is already possible. I have members asking for artis they need to finish making a discovery arti and I give them to them. ALSO! It IS(key word "IS") supposed to be hard to get these, BECUASE Plasma worlds and Demon worlds are supposed to be sorta rare. It took me awhile(with 2200 arti per hour) to get enough Processing cores to get my Plasma World. Besides, even the non awesome ones are still powerful and if EVERYONE had a bunch of DM-79 Datacenters and I might as well just take there planet and use an extractor to get the datacenter. |

Look, the general theme is "-1" so don't bother trying to fight your case any more. However, I DO like the idea of a seperate CT lab that allows you to collaborate on items for the base or other artifacts which benefit the whole legion. |
