It just kills me that 2/3 resources on a dyson go completely to waste. If you build structures to maximize research, you're missing out on roughly 1000 mineral points per hour and 1000 artifact points per hour. ![]() There should be a series of special structures that players can install on planets with more than one strong resource. They should be very hard to get, obviously, and maybe even unique, or limited to a small number. There are already a few structures that do this such as the Omnibase and the Captured Crimson Base, but it's nowhere near enough to consider retooling your structures. It would just be cool if you could build structures on your mission dyson or exotic that would make it the epic friggin hub of your planetary empire. |

Put all your special structures on it first, and then fill up the remaining space with regular structures (shouldn't be more than two +12s). |

But yeah, I wasn't really sure, but it's tough to have all the special structures anyway, that's just the idea. |

I think what the guy is trying to say is that he wishes there were more "all 3 resources" buildings, like more versions of the Warp Gate or Omnibases. |

The Captured T.O. Harvester and Modified Grid-Pylon are both 2 space, but other than that it looks right. There's also the Guarded Memorial, but that's 2 space for 1 research, so not all that great. But yeah, you're right, no +12s. |

I updated the Captured T.O. but both spots on the wiki say the Grid is a space 1, the forum spots I can find it say 2. Can someone confirm which and I'll fix the wiki if it's wrong? |

So what's the total + minerals/artifacts/research if you do all the specials? I'm bad at math. |
