The soundtrack for GL is really cool. Is there a place where I can download it?

Galaxy Legion only has one piece of music, and that's the first track, Clouds of Static. So where have the other pieces of music come from? :?

what browser do you use? and have you ever let the music play longer than 1m45s?

1) Only on my Windows 7 do I hear the first track. Even then I have to constantly turn it on. :?
2) Where are the other ones in the game? I mean where are they supposed to be?
3) The last track sounds like Mass Effect :ugeek:

they're supposed to autoplay sequentially once the first one is finished
what browser are you using? windows 7 isn't a browser, it's an operating system

Google Chrome only plays the first song, Clouds of Static, and then nothing. SRWare Iron is an enhanced Google Chrome and for me, the entire soundtrack plays.

I never said it was a browser I was saying that on that computer I hear the first one but on my other one (which is admittedly 11 years old) I don't hear any.

I use Google Chrome. Only the first track has ever played. And yes, I have left it running. The first track plays, and then it stops. Nothing else plays. If I pause and start the music, it plays Clouds of Static again. I had absolutely no idea that Galaxy Legion had more than one track since Chrome is the only browser I use.

Might be because Dan's using version 0.2.5.beta of the jplayer.js script file.... The current version available is version 2.0.0

He needs to see about upgrading

In fact, i think the bug might have even been fixed by v1.0.0, looking at the release notes...
Quote:
Fixed major bug: Fixed the problem where some browsers were not always detecting the end of the MP3 file in Flash. Used the Flash Sound.onSoundComplete to raise a flag, which is then captured by the progressBroker(). The values affected by the inaccurate Sound.position property are forced to their correct values. (Affects: playedTime, playedPercentRelative and playedPercentAbsolute.)
though there looks like there's some backwards compatibility issues... he'd probably have to rework the entire page of code... uncertain... i don't mess with that stuff myself... music tends to get in the way, and most games have soundtracks so loud that i'm wanting a volume control if it's gonna stay on... (which means games without an easily locatable music mute separate from sound mute lose me very quickly)

Really, there's a soundtrack?

If you want to play the music in the game, look near the top-right, just under your experience bar. There's a blue "play music" link. Click it, and the game sound track will play. Although if you use Chrome, we've found out only one track will play.

I don't have one of those links, I only have a "Animation On" button in that area. Could it possibly be a problem with the game?

I've got the same thing here. I think that what Dan uses is more advanced or something. idk

Necro

btw is there a browser that plays all 4 automatically?

Author:  Asheron [ Thu Aug 09, 2012 6:58 am ]
Post subject:  Re: Game Soundtrack

How hard would it be to enable Chrome to play all 4?

And may we please send in our own music ideas in order to expand the soundtrack?

Thanks,

- Asheron
