I have the feeling that this idea's going to be shot down immediately, but, I'll give it anyway.

How about, after the base reaches a certain level (5?), the legion can collectively build a series of 0 space modules? These would cost an insane amount of badges, artifacts, special items (CTP, EM, PF, etc), and would give bonuses to the legion. Also, the base needs to have not been disabled for so many days (5-10) for them to actually work. Here's a few ideas for such modules (prices are subject to change):

Energy collection centre.
Cost: Lots of all types of badges, CTP, LOTS of energy and EM.
10% of wasted energy (from a full energy capacity on a ship) is automatically contributed to the base. If the base is at the maximum level (level 7 right now), then it is stored for that player to use within 12 hours.

So say your charge rate is 30s, and your energy is full, every 5 minutes 1 energy is contributed to the base or stored for you if the base is level 7.

Weapon charging port
Cost: Red, yellow and green badges, Energy and credits.
Gives +0.1% to every player's attack power for every active legion member (so a full legion of 50 would have a 5% bonus).

Maintainence Centre
Cost: A LOT of credits, and some "drone" artifacts (Dranikk sabs, repair nanodrones, shield/alarm sentries, that sort of thing).
I have 2 ideas for this:
Reduces every legion member's upkeep and module repair costs by 5% OR
Every legion member can select 4 of their modules which are repaired and maintained for free.

Planetary Megadatabase
Cost: EM, PF, A lot of star chart purgers, Time manipulators and Alien data discs.
This keeps open the links to 0.1% of each player's planets for each legion member (so 5% of them for a legion of 50). By keeping open these links, the individual ships no longer need to keep them open themselves, taking strain of their sensors. Basically it "removes" 5% of your scanned planets for the purpose of planet scanning, increasing chances.

These are just a few ideas I've had for it - do you like the concept of 0 space collectively built base modules? If so, what about some of my ideas for them?

No responses so far - here's another idea:

Positron fog generator
Cost: positron clouders, quantum flares, blue badges and EM
Gives +0.1% to every player's cloak for each active legion member.

I like the Planetary Database. With 600+ planets it is getting to be a huge strain and a long time between blitzes.

Edit: But I am not sure I like the ZERO spaces. BUT I do like the idea of a lot of non fighting, non resource producing modules.

My thinking was to make them either very small, or 0 space like mission tier rewards - you could make the cost stupidly high, Like 2000 red/blue, 1000 yellow, and 100 green badges, plus credits, energy, CTP and EM, as well as a tonne of artifacts. These massive costs would require all legion members working together.

The other option is to allow one such module for every base level after level 2, again forcing you to make choices.

I like all of them, but I particularly like the ones that add the cloak and attack bonuses.

Energy dock
Cost: Energy cubes, Energy, EM and CTP
Every 30 minutes, one legion member can charge at the dock. This means that the ship is inactive for 2 minutes (can't do anything else), but regains 10% of their energy capacity along with their normal charge. Legions can put in rules for the number of uses per member per day.

Which would be better? 1 per base level, 0 space, or free building, as long as you have the space (making them take 2-4 space each)?

1 automatically each base level, like a tier reward?

So say, lvl 2 you might get the weapon charging port,
lvl 3 you might get the fog generator
lvl 4 the maintenance center
etc. etc.

I was thinking that each level, you got to CHOOSE an extra one to build, for a cost.
