ever want to do something useful with that almost totally broken weapon (yeah i know, who breaks their weapons?)

...while targetting a player, i'd like an option to select a specific researchable weapon module, set it to overload, and jettison it toward the enemy to explode and do massive direct damage

this would be best for the almost totally broken weapons that are going to need a full credit cost to repair anyway.... of course if you do this you'll have to pay the mineral cost too to replace it since the module would be totally removed from your ship...

it would be funny to throw completely useless things at other players. such as me launching a sofa at someone's ship

That's actually sort of a nifty idea. In Star Trek, a hand phaser set to overload is pretty powerful, so if they ejected the entire phaser assembly on overload at that blasted Romulan Warbird....

It would be cool to do that, mix up combat a little bit, make it different.

I think that would actually be cool to overload your weapons - you'd do more damage but your weapons would lose health.

Personally, I think this would be overpowered for those with money to burn. Imagine if someone just keeps firing Quasi Chaotic Blasters at you?

Yeah, I love the idea, but it would have to be tweaked somehow.

Can you imagine what it would be like for a rank 50 to have a singularity launcher thrown at him? It would almost miss but just graze the enemy ship and destroy it.

For these laughs that I wish to have: +1

as i stated, you'd lose the entire module.... it'd be limited to researchable weapons only
