I suggest a repeatable mission/CT Lab item for a planet trap that when set, will alert the owner if the planet is scanned by someone new (as of when the trap was laid). The trap wouldn't give any information about who scanned it, just that it happened, and when. It wouldn't be set off if an existing scanner alerted the planet - only if someone had directly scanned it themselves. It'd last a week like normal traps and wouldn't be tradeable. The trap should be about as hard to get as a Temporal Flux Orb - there should be no way someone could keep dozens of them up at a time, but it should be possible to get without ridiculous hardship. |
