 Legion Base Targeting

I do believe that the legion base targeting system needs to be reworked. I do not believe it is fair to have a level 3 base with 3250 attack and 2450 defense to be targeted by a legion like Galactic Paladins. I'm not bashing on them but the fact that a level 3 base can be attacked by a 57 member legion with an AVERAGE rank of 429 is ridiculous. They took down 10,100 shield and 15,100 hull in less than a minute and a half.

I say the legion base targeting needs some work. Like only a level 2 base can target a level 2 base, a 3 for a 3, etc...... That way it will cut down on lower level bases that cant defend themselves against a legion like that from being disabled. It would give them a fighting chance rather than what happened to my legions base.

Does anyone else have any other ideas for a better legion base targeting system?

It definitely needs some work imo. It's not fair for the smaller legions to have their base disabled every other day. Although your suggestion won't work for people like The Dysonians, who are the only ones with a level 7 base.

It'd need to be scaled, like this:
First, there is a "dice roll"
40% of the time It's land on your base level
hen a 15% chance of landing 1 either side (70%)
Then another 10% chance of landing 2 either side (90%)
Then another 5% chance of landing 3 either side (100%)

Where percentages are 0/impossible, they are distributed among the other levels in the same ratios.
After that, it randomly selects a base in that level range.

For example, take a lvl4 base:
0% chance of lvl1 target (Impossible)
10% chance of lvl2 target
15% chance of lvl3 target
40% chance of lvl4 target
15% chance of lvl5 target
10% chance of lvl6 target
5% chance of a lvl7 target

This would balance higher level bases (lvl7) too:
0% chance of lvl1 target
0% chance of lvl2 target
0% chance of lvl3 target (all out of range)
5% chance of lvl4 target
10% chance of lvl5 target
15% chance of lvl6 target
40% chance of a lvl7 target

This then forces them to choose, because it'd take them on around 15 attempts to find a level 4 base, or face off with another lvl7.
It also benefits lower ranks, because they're more likely to find similar level bases, which they can cope with.

I'm sure The Knights Who Say Ni are going to love having The Dysonians land on their base 40% of the time and vice versa.

nope, we wont actually love that because why would we target a level 7 base when the resources need to disable such a high level base is out of proportion to the badge that will be awarded.

In conjunction to my new calculation, the badges need to be on a non-linear scale to base level, like:
max 2 for lvl2
max 3 for lvl3
max 5 for lvl4
max 8 for lvl5
max 12 for lvl6
max 17 for lvl7

Or like Dan said on another thread, have some entirely new rewards for high level bases.
