{race} a new playable race: Drackonian

the Drackonian are the most advance race encountered so far, very little is known about this mysterious race, all that is known they can change thier abilitites depending on the situtation at hand.
there are a few options for passive abilities: 1: 15% attack and defence. 2: 10% reduced module size. 3: 15% extra ship size. 4: 20% cloak and scan bonus. 5:primal power- when used when fighting a boss station your attack gets increased by half of the boss stations defence- last only 2 hours.
in order to get this playable race you will have to finish the mission chain, there will be 6 missions in all,( feel free to post your mission ideas as i have not thought of any good ones) the last chain when completed you will get a artifact which allows you to change your race to Drackonian
you can change your ability once a week if you want to- it will cost 800 energy to change ability
NOTE: you can only have ability active at a time except for those that include 2
made a few adjustments to the ablitites to make it a bit weaker.

the abilities can be modified, at the moment they are just for to show what abilities this race can have, if you change you ability you cant change it again for 48hrs, putting a limit on it like that should nerf it a bit, but tweaking the abilitites a little bit more will help, if anyone would prefer changes to be made to the abilities post your ideas

This is a great idea, (A race that can change. From the description of the Xecti, if they become playable perhaps they will be similar.) However, it does seem a little powerful. Make it so that they can't change the ability but once a week, and requires 50 or 75% of your total energy to change. (To make it fair) and the mission chain necessary to unlock them would probably have to be long and hard.

An ability changing race would, by default, need to count in the ability changing as a factor in itself. Therefore the abilities it would change to would inherently be significantly less than and not equal to or exceed those of the other races that it seeks to emulate.
Meaning: IF such a race were added and it had an ability to mimic another race ability, the ability it seeks to mimic would not be anywhere near that of the focused, specialized race. Perhaps 35-40%, if allowed, might be balance reasonable.
Interesting idea, saves on glaviz and race respecializing...
