I think that there should be some more ship images for the races, rather than just one. Planet's have 4 different images that can be seen. I think we should also have different images for our ships as well. Feel free to comment or improve upon this idea.  *I'll try to come up with some rough draft ship images for examples |

spyder wrote: +!, based on either profession or ship size. That sounds like an excellent idea As you increase your deck count, you could unlock new "ship images" as your "ship class" increases. Each class could unlock 3-5 new ships. It could be similar to base lvl images, as you unlock the new ones, you could use some energy to change your ship profile.

Suggested many times over the course of my use of this forum(May 2010), but I still support it. A couple suggestions for variety in ship images suggested the Images for modules would be added into the ship images, in layers. |

The only problem with this is the time and effort. If it was size based, there's 13 (soon to be 14) different races. If it was every "class" of ship (Frigate, Cruiser, Battleship, etc), that would be 14x9 = 126 unique images. That's a lot. With professions, It'd be a little less, because not every profession is available to every race. Still, would you rather Dan spent the time making 100 new images, or adding new content? |

+1. It should be the race should all have a similar look and the profession should determine what the ship looks like. time and effort better spent elsewhere by Dan IMO. |
