Yes this would allow you to change your nick name in game.

I would think it would need a three month reset and cost 200 energy to help reduce problems.

But it is an idea that would come up sooner or later.

Edit: yes any alerts would update. Plus remember you cannot share some planet stats till you have been there a week anyway.

I dont want to just know who is an untrustworthy ass until they change their names... under this system I could join your legion, steal a planet... leave and wait for the alert to wear off. Then change my name. Now there is no way they know who I am. I rejoin the legion under a different alias and do it again, or join another one to do it.

and people could do it already be sending a ticket to dan. Longer to do and dan might say no. But it can be done.

It is a poss that people do it now. It will definately happen if this is implemented. I still say -1. Sry
