When you damage an enemy the xp bar is partially covered by the damage box. If the entire battle screen popped up a little lower this would help. I'm sure many people have leveled with relays on because of this. Most people try to get as close as possible to leveling and then dump excess energy into their base. This would make keeping an eye on your xp easier.

I like it their because it makes a risk you have to take. You have to calculate if you will possibly level or not
Say I need 20 xp to level up. but have 400 Energy. Hit the NPC look at how much XP I got say I got 8 XP. You exit screen and see how much you have left.20-8 12. So you can possibly level if you hit the NPC. Uninstall the relays and anything that takes energy off. Dump all energy into base. Level up and proceed with what your doing. Its simple to just do that instead of change something that doesnt really need changed....

It's not a major problem... but I don't think of it as a risk or challenge. Sure, it's easy enough to keep track on your own if you are paying close attention, but this would just be more convenient.
