We had someone fail 11 times in a row with 90% each time. That sucked!

90% is a percentage, the game does not count how many time you invaded sucessfully and then make you fail on the 10th time. It is 90% chance. So it will happened.

First, the 90% chance against a completely defenceless planet thing should be fixed. If it's defenceless, you should get it immediately. No defence = no resistance.

i like the 90% for undefended planets but i think if you can overpower the planet you should be able to get a 95% chance sucess

I too think it is broken. In particular it seems that 0 def planets don't follow the rules, as I hear more failures on those than on minimally defended planets (bug?). Maybe Dan could log these events when it is 90%+ calculated but there was a failure and see if it's true, even for a 24hr period should prove it one way or the other.

its really only 9/10 as the number of attempts approaches infinity. Your sample size is too small to determine that it isn't.

you don't lose all your money at the casinos and then complain that they fix the slot machines because you lost all your money just because you failed the last 20 times does NOT mean you will succeed on the next one as i have said in another thread (somewhere around here)... your history has no bearing on future outcomes
and if you've failed 11 times in a row...... that's pretty good odds... you probably should have spent your time on lottery tickets rather than on GL
