50 Halcyon traps
50 cloning pods
1 Planet flux

Trap - 1 year

The next time the planet is scanned or viewed by the enemy, it will notify the owner and the planet will be removed from the list of everyone who have scanned it, this does not remove any active alerts on the planet, although they will expire normally.

Best used on a planet not scanned by other ships

its expensive to make but this is worth putting on the most important planets.

While a intresting idea, the req's do seem abit low for such a powerful effect.

planet flux alone is a huge requirement.. and will also give dan some GP flow.

Not that huge, despite being a rare drop of a npc, people have the option of buying for with GP/credits or trading with CTPs (Which you'd get easy enough if your a active npc farmer). For a YEAR long trap that will auto flux the planet its on the second its scanned, no matter if you've got no internet for abit, at work, on holiday, asleep etc. And considering (from what alot say on the forum) most high levels, or players can buy GP, flux probe there best planets weekly and then flux them if scanned.

And in a space of a year doing that 54 times a year, could cost a few fluxs in that time, over your 1 flux for a "auto flux" for the entire 54weeks (till triggered). Seems dan gets more income how it is now. So yes, its a good idea, but the req is indeed low for that power and protection.

don't mean to nitpick, but there's 52 weeks in a year man lol
anyways, i think it should probably be 100 halcyons and 100 cloning pods, that would make it more reasonable

Your thinking 1 planet. When you have 10 or 30 or even 50 planets you want to protect it becomes a huge thing. I have completed the temporal flux mission 65x already and I have used those flux to remove those planets I consider important in my scan from other players. If that was a planet flux I'm sure I would have bought 40x60 gp worth of planet flux.

I've seen planets that have been scanned multiple times in a week even with adequate cloaking 2000 cloak, but was not taken due to the 10k defense I have installed. There is one planet that I had to flux 3 times in 1 week.

not everyone can auto rank on npc and still most ppl buy flux via gp. Although trade is still possible.

i think i'd rather go with 1 flux probe each week plus 1 planet flux as needed....

only way i can see something like this is 1 planet flux, at least 100 flux probes, and a handful of something else

I agree with this being just overpowered, period, as well as the requirements not being stiff enough.

How about, it lasts for 1 year or until the player goes inactive? I'm staring at a planet right now that the player's rank hasn't changed in 3 months and there's good invasion defense on it so I haven't yet been able to take it. If it auto-fluxed every time it was scanned, that would unreasonably hide way too many planets that would just be going to waste otherwise.

Alternatively, it could just last for 1 week, as most traps do.

And it needs to have more like 10 or 20 (or 50) planet fluxes as ingredients.

Put some more cloak on...
