Post subject:  enable us to buy GP with credits
I have spent over $700 on GP, and wish I could get GP with credits. That would save me a lot of money. Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to buy GP with credits?

You mean with actual in-game credits, that'll never happen because they are too easy to get.

I'm talking about in-game credits, which you get by selling minerals and doing some missions. It would be easy to get GP that way. However, ship modules, upkeep, and planetary structures get extremely expensive for high-rank players. And maybe the GP should have a pretty high cost to get with in-game credits because players can eventually accumulate dozens of billions of credits.

There are players with over 100 billion , even with 10+ billion a day upkeep.

If some players do have over 100 billion credits, then I take back what I said. GP should NOT be buyable with in-game credits.

hahaha

I forgot eactly who it was, but a dysonian(mojo311?) recently bought a 40x dyson with 750 billion credits, a million EM, and a whole crap load of odds and ends, point being, if a single player can accumulate THAT much....

well, it depends on the price of the GP doesn't it?
For intents and purpose, it can be a growing price.
For example, each GP cost 1000 cred for the first 10, than cost 2x that much for next 10 and so on
So after buying 200 credits (x2^20) it becomes 1 bil each. and after 300, 1 tril each.
you can do a lot with 300 GP, but most ppl who can get to 200 gp probably spent some money so it's not a big deal.
And... as always.... price and growth rate can be discussed so it can be a bit harder/more expensive if it still seems to ez.

Anyway, I feel a trade can work out if the cost grows exponentially, or indeed it would be too ez to get a ton after a certain point.
