A Question on in-game Player Interaction

I've noticed that as players scroll through my battle menu, or through the notification bar on the top page, if given enough time, players who you have interacted with in some way, shape and form (read as: I like the badges and resources they hand out), disappear off the sidebars and battle menus, only to be viewed with some sense of loss from the member list of their alliance page. Is there a way you can keep track of people that you prefer to.... interact with on a regular basis? so you can keep in touch, so to speak?
if there's not, then perhaps there should be an option where we can retain and review our in-game contacts, without the need to friend them through facebook.

1) This belongs in the beginner's forum, not suggestions & ideas. 2) Try getting them to hit you back. A hack, even getting a hit on your hull will make them appear on your tab.
