 {planet} moons and suns / asteroid belts / clouds ?

Where are all the Moons and Stars? It would be great to see tiny/very small moons orbiting planets, which could be treated like a regular planet, kind of like getting a 2 for 1..Another object to fight over, manipulate etc. Not sure how a planet flux would work on a planet with a moon..

Or Stars (the kind that burn) and the ability to harvest energy via a new research line that was 'green', that focused on efficiency and anti-pollution etc..Would probably cost a ton in both research/credits, but could offer a new collectible resource - energy, which could be just like the other resources..maybe break down the energy itself, having solar units worth .1 energy, hydro units .2, thermal .3, gravitic, bio mass converters or whatever etc..This tech line could also influence all the other techs with efficiency boosts etc.

Same thing with asteroid belts, meteors, and clouds , would be awesome to see them in the game so we could mine and research them..

Also, you could put some Stars and meteors on timers, 1-2 weeks and they vanish, so people scan every day looking for things that might not be there tomorrow.

people have mentioned over and over agian about this general topic of suns and asteroids, but nothing has really gone effect, I love the idea and i think it would be cool for this topics like this to go into effect of the game.

It would be good to see moons and astroids to be developed, as a bonus to a planet, and as a secondary mining source. But i doubt Dan would make suns, as then every1 would have an endless supply of extra energy, making the game to easy.

I think it would be good, but should be in a controlled way.

The Sun could be kind of like the mission exotic/dyson/rift (preferably not in the same chain though) where you have to be of some rank or done x amount of missions or have x amount of planets or something. The Sun would provide a permanent energy recharge rate and nothing else. Or perhaps it could reduce production timer by 1 minute and you can upgrade it with a new npc drop that makes the reduction by another 1 minute up to a maximum of 10 minutes off of the production timer (would be a rare drop though). Sun is invincible, unique only to that player.

Moons could be similar, but be only for mining and could increase mining output by x or x% and would orbit a certain planet and affect only that planet(s) production

something about the stars, if you can harvest the star's energy much in the same way reactor produce energy, then a star would add MAX energy depending on size.

The max energy recharge rate is at 120 and Stars increasing that would be overkill in the energy department. However I think them adding Max Energy to your ship is a good Idea.

might be sun can simply give you once a week full energy recharge... you can upgrade.... lets say to 6 days to recharge full energy... and so on... its up to Den to decide how short term it should be...

Sun is a tricky concept to balance, because it involves energy. Any other similar concept with energy will be hard to balance and add into the game without making it unfair. I would say no to sun.
The moons however, i would say yes.
I think moons should have their own size scale and own structures. Some moon structures should only be avalible to the large moons.
Larger planets can have more and larger planets, so a small planet can only have 1 small sized planet, for example.

Or what about a few hundred energy harvestable ever 40hrs?

There are times when I need a little extra energy but not a full recharge, for example if I've just finished an NPC blitz and someone locks a level 3 base or I'm 3hrs from getting enough energy to level up but need to sleep. Suns could give that little bit of energy.

Perhaps an artifact might be needed as well. A heat shield or something. It gets burned away when the energy is collected. It could be a new artifact drop or an NPC drop.

plasma(upgrade of gas) to star~ that will do proper logic. plasma should be star in the first place, there is no plasma body in the universe other than star anyway. (unlike gas, plasma state DOES require extreme heat, and therefore pressure)

And I would say the best would be set amount per set period of time, although probably auto instead of trigger. So structures on the thing can give like x energy per hour(first building is 1, with area of 30 maybe XD). the richness rating can scale with the research rating from the plasma.

Let's say this is also via CT lab, requires 3x Thermionic Intensifier, 3x Phasic-Chain Ionizer and maybe some other fun toys~

I like the idea same as ever before if you get to set them in orbit or other things. Suns would be cool just not get energy from them.
