 Unlock the The Xecti with this ability. "what do you think?"

i would like to see this races ability as an ability to create rare artifacts like the Adaptive Spire, Ensconcing Field or Pathway Detector (having the ability to make either one) (and, maybe, any further artifacts from this mission chain could be added too) , uses one or more other artifacts to create, with a 40 hour cool down.

? what artifacts do you think should be used to create with this ability ? using 1 - 2 or 3 other artifacts.

2 spires, 2 ensconcing fields and 2 traps used to make a xecti adaption computer, artifact-1 use.
Gives your ship the "Xecti Adaption" ability, for random "trap like" procs in combat. Will only proc once per player per 12 hrs.

But, to use 4 limited/rare artifacts is a bit much.

i am hoping since most of the xecti have been items for planets, that thisrace allows u to upgrade a planet one size for every certain amount of hours..... long shot but it would be sweet and go along with the abilities of the last 3 chains

It'd probably have a longer cool down if that was implemented.

But, that would cut into Dan's revenue too much.

So, i think my question/idea is more probable/likely... and i am hopeful.

My thought was, it would be nice if the race was unlocked with the enrichment ability based on planet-type. Toxic/Volcanic/Barren +1 mining, Gas +1 Research, etc. Same setup as the Spires. Maybe best resource +1 on Exotic/Dyson since the Spires are +1/+1/+1 on them...

well, in this week's news about their adaptation to weapons, i was thinking along the lines of immune to traps or enemy effects or both

A weapon module with 5% chance to disarm a trap on a target.

Someone posted a while ago about being able to move planetary production around using an artifact/ability. Possibly something like that but to be honest I think we will have to wait to see what 'The Pathway' is, that will probably give us some clue. This is assuming they are a playable race of course.

8-) ok i kno this is a bit from left field but how about instead of +1 to size it could -1 to size untill the planet was destroyed...this would make clearing up your planet database very interesting dont u think ;) again just a thought :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

well now, there is some thinking outside of the box.. and not a bad idea.

but if it was to be used on your colonized planets it would effect Dan and crew's income with players buying GP to get rid of planets
