so whenever you leave your legion to trade for a planet or to recruit,when you come back,you have to wait another week to use the CTLAB,battle bases,and some other stuff. what is the point of having the "loyal" system. i think it should be gone as an update for this month.

part of the point of the loyalty system is an attempt to cut down on the amount of legion-hopping and planet-trading that goes on

but what about the base silver badges!!?? like why wouldnt anyone want to trade a planet AND get silver badges!? seriously just because people leave to get a planet doesnt mean they still shouldnt be able to help the legion. ....

That's part of it... The loyalty, like Lycan said, is to cut down on the legion hopping and planet trades. Before bases came out, it was really getting out of hand. If you leave to get a planet, that means you are putting yourself above the legion. The rest of your legion loses production bonus from the base and planet defense bonus while you are AWOL. Also consider if you are a Fixer or Aerlen or Physicist. Your legion's base loses the potential defense bonus your race/profession can provide, making it just that much easier to disable. Just as you may need to sacrifice one aspect of your ship to improve another, you need to sacrifice some of the perks of legion membership when you leave that legion, even if only for an hour or whatever. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

well, my short answer is:
trade planet and legion hopping is wrong, you are lucky your acc is not getting banned for it.
so quit complaining about whatever consequences that come with that. if you don't want to deal with the consequences, then play in the way the game was meant to be.

It is good team work, and thus by all means not a "bad" thing to do

but I believe it's wrong per the design of the game, as it's definitely not something dan wanted to happen by design, or it won't be so much trouble.

So no, i'm not putting down nor criticizing planet trading personally, but you can't say it's the "proper" thing to do.

as for legion hopping to recruit.... that's about on par in the "wrongness chart" with disabling someone 500 times for no real reason just because you can....
