That's it. That's all I have to say.

When we go to war, there's only one base I want to lock on to... I'll blow 50 badges, more even, to get that chance. Feel free to incorporate restrictions and timers and what not.

+1, accept not just red, but some of many so that the well known legions would not ALWAYS be locked[dysonians].

-1 let one legion farm another legion every day.

-1. Way too abusable.

-1's without offering alternatives or suggestions to improve the idea to me is pretty damn (my favorite word on the forum right now) candy-assed. Everything has potential for abuse... Oh gee, limit the Time Manipulator to 50 aggressive actions... Oh, can't get a green badge from the same planet within the same week... Blah blah, whine whine...

Just restrict it. Think of a way. Non-targetable again for 30 days. Whatever...

This is a damn war game and when I go to war with a legion, I want to beat down their base as well as everyone in their legion. From the noob level 24, to the 72 that doesn't stand a chance, to the 300 that I can still pulverize with my nifty ship.

Stop wasting everyone's time having to read a worthless post. Add something valuable to the discussion. I am done with the pacifists around here who want everything handed to them, while cowering behind a damn halcyon...

this is a good point... if you are at war you dont want to fight in the trenches. you want to storm their home city. taking out a base during a war would cripple their income and could assure victory. IMHO, and as i have suggested before. have the critical raid ability switched to steal a crewmember (hostage) and they have several selectable bonus's when used... one of these could be interrogate for base coordinate

The original suggestion can be used abusively to farm known weak bases(comparably speaking among bases of same lvl) and to put up a permanent protection around some lower leveled bases.

For the first problem, a limit of 5 per week for each base can be set. This limit is the number of time that it can be specifically targeted. In such a case, a weak legion can't be farmed too much within a given period. And tbh, even in time of war, 5 disable per week seems good enough to me(keeping target at 10% or 0% bonus the whole time).

For the second problem, I'm assuming a base can only be locked on by one legion(shares aside) at any given time, tbh I don't know if that is true. If it is thou, then the following constricts have to apply: only rank 100+ may use this function. The price of the lock increase by 25 reds for each additional time you have designated against each specific base. (that is, if you locked on base A for 50 once, the next time you do this, it will cost 75 to lock on A or 50 to lock on any other. If you locked on B for 50 after that, then it will be 75 for A&B and 50 for others) Whereas this won't completely stop "aegis" bases with alts, it would make it much harder to keep up. And no, this won't affect real wars much, because I don't expect ONE person to be doing all the locking, so it's very possible to lock on a base 10x times using this function for 50 each between your members. Ofc, this could be long long long long wars. But then again, you always have the choice to normally scan for it if it gets too expensive, so this can't be "bad" right?

Other than the above noted issue, I can't see any way to abuse this. So I think if those modification are put in, it will be OK.

Fine.. Just as long as you can take the fact your base is going to get targeted just a much.

Also please note this game is just not a war game. There is NPCs. To some this hard to understand.
