Please can we have something that lets us actually see and use the *real* base contribution %?
Currently the % figure doesn't represent the effort people have made to contribute because donating 1 EM (which is pretty much valueless) is considered equal to donating 1 CTP (which is a lot more effort/valuable). Thus spliting base resource production by % contribution doesn't actually reward people fairly for their contributions to the base.
Contributions of CTPs should be weighted higher than energy contributions, and EM contributions should be worth almost zero - ideally the Legion Leader should be able to specify the ratios, but suggested defaults are around: 1 CTP = 50 energy & 1 energy = 100 EM.
Being able to share base resources according to the effort people have made to contributing to the base is great - but unfortunately the current mechanics of the game don't let us do that and it is really annoying to see people get unfairly rewarded for dumping 100k+ of EM into the base (especially when the low donation limit on EM means that no-one else can then catch-up with them).

wait... energy>CTP??? are you ranked 600 or something? CTP don't come ez = =;; I would say 1 CTP=10 energy=50 EM or so. And while we are at it... badge donation(via the clamps), GP donation(the various art in the market you can use on the base), cred donation(of any kind) should also be included~ that shows real effort

I definatly agree that CTP contributions should count for more than EM. Of course people who have given loads of EM to their base and therefore have high % will protest, as their % would drop significantly, but it should still be done.
CTP costs far more to give than EM. Of course giving loads of energy costs the player a lot too.
EM is a cheap, easy way for people to get a high % contribution without actually sacrificing much for the base, while others who sacrifice loads of CTP and energy don't get the % reflected properly, they have actually given far more
It would be good if Dan would look at this and balance it out properly

I think energy is more valuable than CTP. Energy is the lifeblood of the game and contributing it is hard. At those rates I'll give you 2000CTP to come contribute a load of energy to the base. 100k energy for the base would get us a big step towards level 5.
Someone in our legion suggested making in user-defineable, i.e, each legion leader can set the percentages.

the player-run market has 1 CTP = 100 EM (though if leaders can set their own ratio, that would be nice too)
as for energy... i usually see high ctp (on the 30-38 range) from scrapping npc-dropped ship modules... normally those npcs only req about 15 or so hits for me... so 1 ctp = 2 energy in my book

I didn't read it backwards.... I read it.... 1 CTP=50 EM XD
Anyway, humm... @Lone: I think you should consider the other NPC you have to dispatch to GET to the NPC that drops CTP modules. I mean sure you get exp etc, but I do believe that should be considered as part of the cost, especially now that there is a "block" on auto lvling. I would personally say maybe 1 CTP=5-10 Energy
I would say 1 silver badge=10 energy, I mean I know ppl who spend a lot more energy to get 3-4 or something, but there are also ppl who spend only 5 to get one(although in bigger legions, I see those ppl getting kicked eventually XD) Anyway, this can be tweaked
I would say 1 GP=100 energy, this is more or less going off the refill rate. I know many would have more but also many less, seems like a reasonable balance.
And at last, we can do cred-->ku-->EM for the value of creds Not so sure what the going rate is atm~ I burden my legion leader with the task of trading XD
That is everything that can be donated to the base, right? I can't think of anything else...

right now i'm staring at a legion alert page of about 10 npcs (not counting who knows how many i can't see anymore)... i don't have to hunt npcs myself if i'm wanting ctp... i just have to wait for someone to alert something and go after it... so i stand on 1 ctp = 2 energy

CTP can be traded for as well as gotten from scrapping artis. Energy, on the other hand, isn't so easy to acquire.
Lone Lycan's right too. There's lots of players who don't hunt NPCs and just take off what NPC hunters post up so their energy-CTP ratio is way better than mine might be.
Once again, my offer still stands of 100k energy for 2000CTP. Anyone...anyone...anyone....Bueler....Bueler....Bueler....
I think the democratic route is best. EM's definitely worth less than CTP and energy.

I would be happy if EM contributions were simply ignored/zeroed when calculating base contribution % for resource distribution.
I just really hate that people who have been greedy and selfish by dumping 100's of k of EM into the base but donating very little energy or CTPs are getting rewarded with so much more resources than others who have donated much more energy, CTP and other stuff but got locked out of donating EM because the selfish/greedy people used up all the EM donation limit for the base level.

yeah... i've come up with several suggestions for that... including one i'm still liking.... ....having the EM contribution button locked until 50% energy is given... and even then, you can only contribute no more than X amount of necessary EM per hour, limited not by a flat amount per hour, but by the total amount of EM contributed this base level and the number of hours since you've unlocked the EM button,... that way if someone misses an hour they can give 2x the amount on the 2nd hour... so basically a rising max EM contribution limit so that everyone in the legion has an opportunity to give
