Post subject:  NPC Ideas

I had some Ideas here and there about NPCs, though of some, wrote them down, and now typing them here.

Let's start with the Lazuli because of their Factories producing ships:

Replica
Matched Rare

The Lazuli have been monitoring very powerful ships for some time. Using the data, they were able to make replicas of those ship from their factories. With great cloak, your ship has been monitored and this replica was made to take your place, but some calculations were different.

Hull: Same as yours
Shields: Same as yours
Attack: 3/4 of yours
Defense: 3/4 of yours
Ability: Containment - Chance to contain harmful effects from itself.
Expires: 2 Days

Reward: Captured Replica

Captured Replica
Scrap for CTP (Rank * 2)
Sell for Credits (Based on rank)
Analyze for Research (8-10 hours worth)
Free Cargo for extra Cargo space (20% of your total cargo space is added)
Examine Cargo for Artifacts (8-10 hours worth)

Rogue Power Harvester
Matched Extremely Rare Harvester

The Rogue Science League has recently found out how to hack into energy supplies. They made special ships to collect the compromised energy from systems of ships. Take them down before they have enough energy to power their new facilities.

Hull: Very High
Shields: High
Attack: Moderate
Defense: High
Ability: None
Expires: 24 hours

Reward: Power Supply - Grants 15% of total energy.

Matched Rare/Extremely Rare
Expires: 1 Day 12 Hours

The Terran Outsiders have built this ship for charting planets. Those planets, occupied or not, were possible targets for facilities. If taken out, the charts may be decrypted.

Hull: High
Shields: Extremely High
Attack: Moderate
Defense: Moderate
Ability: None

Rewards (only one):
Uncommon Planet (70%)
Rare Planet (25%)
Extremely Rare Planet (5%)

2nd Version: (Extremely Rare)

Hull: Very High
Shields: Extremely High
Attack: High
Defense: High
Ability: None

Rewards (Only one):
Rare Planet (90%)
Extremely Rare Planet (10%)

T.O. Planetary Carrier
Rank: 500
Extremely Rare Boss Carrier

This ship was made by the Terran Outsiders to load planets. This ship is massive enough that planets are very small compared to it. Due to its massive size, it is extremely difficult to disable.

Hull: 250,000
Shields: 400,000
Attack: 3000
Defense: 4500
Ability:
Debris Storm - Sends planetary debris at your ship, dealing 2x damage for 3 battles.
Gravitational Pull - Uses planetary gravity to redirect attacks from attackers, increasing its defense by 20% for 1 hour.
Magnetosphere - Creates a Magnetosphere to disrupt shields of attackers, lowering your shields by 25% for 1 hour.
Expires: 2 Days

Rewards (Top 15):
Common Planet with one resource greater than Rich + 6 hours of all resources (can exceed limit) (70%)
Uncommon Planet with one resource greater than Rich and larger than Large + 3 hours of all resources (Can exceed limit) (20%)
Rare Planet with at least one resource greater than Very Rich and larger than Large + 1 hour of all resources (Can exceed limit) (8%)
Extremely Rare Planet (2%)

Honestly, I do not think that these will be implemented, but they are just ideas that just came up.

They're really interesting ideas. Would definitely spice things up for those who hunt NPCs and need a bit of a boost to planet production to compensate for faster levelling.

With the T.O. Star Mapper, it should spawn a new, unoccupied planet. Why? Because high ranks farm hundreds of NPCs each day. They could get 2-3 a day, and between the lot of them would quickly scan every uncommon/rare/extremely rare planet.
