I know I am gonna get a lot of blow back for this and that it is never gonna happen for a whole multitude of reasons, but I still think its a good idea that would make the game more enjoyable for all so I thought I would put it up. In an attempt to stop farming and promote a even battling style many tweaks have been suggested with some implementation) to the battle tab, traps and other game features. Here is a major one, granted, but would seem to be along this same course of thinking. What if all legions were limited to a certain % of players in a certain rank range. For example: 25% of members can be ranks 0-300 25% of members can be ranks 301-550 25% of members can be ranks 551-800 25% of members can be ranks 801 and up Yes it would require players to switch legions and yes it may require other switches when reaching a ranking milestone. What would be gained? It would distribute power between many legions, making for a more active and equal battling environment. AHH scratch the whole idea, it would have to be built into the game from the start to work well. |

This would be pretty annoying, because most things in Legions encourage groups of similar-rank people. The Bases can be tough to have a whole Legion keep up with, when part of your Legion is much higher in level than the rest. NPCs are similarly annoying in Legions with people of much different rank. |

You don't understand how bad I need to come up with a new word for Infinite X -1 = -infinite What you are suggesting is that NO legion can become the best? That when a member has went from lowly 1 to rank 300 and we already have are 25% amount of that range, that player should be forced to leave? DO you know how long the average player stays in my legion? Well unless we kick them, they DON'T leave. I would have to say goodbye to SO many of my friends I have made in my legion, if this idea was implemented? I mean there are also so many scenarios that would make this impossible, and would utterly destroy the entire game mechanics on every level. Is it right to force a legion to accept low rank members, when they don't want to? What about NEW legions that are created by low levels? They can only accept about 12 members around their rank and then pray a higher level joins them? Edit: Sorry if I came out really hostile, I get really cranky at night when I am really tired. |

there would be no need for legion leaderboards... there would be no more elite legions... ....and base levels would have to be removed since there would be an obvious cap on what base levels could even be disabled in 8 hrs my vote... -∞ (negative infinity) |

might be reasonable if it was only a join block, that is if a certain range is maxed out (25% of max member count), then player of that range can't join the legion. That way, it would only apply to ppl who switch/join new legions... but even that would be annoying for anyone who want to legion hop for whatever. except the highest few who are almost in a category of their own, it would be a problem. overall -1... On a side note (I'm just thinking this up because it's interesting, technically it's not good for the game neither so it's -1 from even myself) it might be fun to do something with average rank of legion lvl If a legion's average rank is higher than the average rank of all active(within last 24 hours) players of rank 50+(not a pop-in, pop-out, which would greatly drag down this average) We have a number X, and for each 5 rank the legion average is over the above player average, X is increased by 1. (so if legion average is 400 and world average is 350, then X=10) And legion cannot accept any new member who are more than (world-average)-X rank (in this case, 340) or something to this effect~ To prevent legions using lvl 1s to drag down the legion average to prevent this, for this legion average, for the ones below the current legion average, only those who are loyal AND gained at least 1 rank in the last week are considered(1 rank/week is not too hard is it? I think any real actives can do it...) (note those above legion average will be considered at all times, to prevent mass leave-then join spree to kill loyalty to drop the average) yeah, I know it's random... but meh.... maybe for another game? |

no -10000000000000 my entire legion is below rank 300 but we all get along and most of up has been there ever since we started and we've all grown to rank 200 together.this would destroy us worst idea ever (even worse than somebody saying we should get rid of battle tabs and replace then with NPCS slots |

here is a worse one: make the game into a black&white picture of a ship that we can click on.... and nothing happens when you click ppl can then proceed to pay to have the ship colored in and/or buy a horn, which will sound when you click! I suggest we jack this thread and make a worst suggestion ever competition out of it~ |

The main reason why this is a bad idea is Rare npcs have a range of players that can attack them. like 175 to 600. The more people you have at rank 175+ the more times these npcs are seen, someone lower then that rank Cant even find these rares. People above 600 will want to find larger legions so they are inside the range of npcs... |

i suggest farmville players are able to insnare everything in farm, so you are stuck under their control, and farmville cows can poop in your legions base. |
