I bought a dominion cannon and it took away all my badges but it never gave me the cannon :

Check your cargo. It should be there to install.

its not in my cargo so i just wasted a load of progress

just a friendly piece of advice, DO NOT buy any dominion cannons before you can afford the mk 3s. they may seem tempting, but pvp difficulty ramps up VERY fast. my advice is save your badges until you have enough to but the mk 3s, and then install em when you can. even if your under level 100, wait for the mk3s, because while it may take 3 or 4 shots to disable a player at ur rank, it takes close to 80+ energy to get a kill when you advance past the 'new player' stage. ive heard that it takes several hundred energy once you get into the high ranks. so its just something to think about. use your badges wisely.

I would definately disagree if you are a beginner, and enjoy PvP. Having 4 Mark I's at a young rank will GREATLY help your combat rep, and open doors to NPC'ing (and other combat actions) MUCH more efficiently...and have plenty of reds to buy those Mark III's as soon as you hit rank 100...not to mention scan a bunch of bases all the while
