Post subject:  Make Bane Emitters sendable

I've noticed I'm getting more Hallows Bane ships as it gets neared the end of the month. I've already got a full set of Hypercharged emitters but I guess there's some folks who won't by the end of the event. There's also lower rank players who can't get the Overcharged or Hypercharged emitter.

so why not make the emitters sendable? It takes a lot of hunting to find the Bane ships and a lot of energy to kill them. They don't scrap for much CTP and there's a lot of players who would probably pay more CTP to get one after the event has ended.

Really? No one's into this idea? About a week ago the forum was full of post by people who wanted Bane Emitters. Guess the chances of finding one must have really gone up since then.

overcharged and hypercharged drop from Eidolon... you have to be high enough level to see him...

if Dan were to make those sendable, he would put a level limit on installing them

although i would like to support this and give myself an easy way to get 3 more hypercharged, i dont think these should be sendable. Half the fun of NPC hunting is getting the rewards yourself. and although its usually a pain, theres a certain satisfaction that comes with the fact that you earned everything you have on your ship.

I don't think its a good idea to make them sendable.

Of and yesterday was like bane party I had 4 appear in a range of 15 kills was crazy thinking I'm looking for something else

Although I can possibly sell a lot since I have 20 hypers already.

Ever since Dan put in the assassins, I have had a hard time killing enough NPC's to cycle through more than 100 a day... I have only seen 2 of them so far. Dont think I am gonna get all of mine in time.

count your blessings that you've actually seen them. I haven't even seen one yet...

That's the thing. Lost of players won't be able to get them. Remric - you're high enough rank to plough through laods of NPCs. I'm not bad either. Did 10k of energy today and got a few Banes. Some players still haevn't gotten a full set yet and players below rank 150 will want better emitters once they've levelled up instead of waiting for next year. Lots of folk who don't NPC have switched to NPCing to get the Banes but I guess they're not doing enough to find them.

Basically there's a market need. There's also a supply of Bane emitters which would otherwise be scrapped for not much CTP. Seems win win here unless Dan's going to make them available for GP after the event in which case he wins.

If you look for them you will find them . The thing is they have picked up in spawn rate the last couple of days. some expect to find them after killing 20 npc this will not happen it is uncommon NPC and must stay like this. To sell them bad idea again. There is to many multi's ect going on that this will be subject to cheating once again. I understand it will be easier for higher ranking players but this is part of the game as there is definitively some plus and minus for lower ranking players as well as higher ranking players.

It means I'll be scrapping stuff which won't be available to players for another year. Lots of players aren't used to hunting NPC and that's part of the problem. I barely play missions so it's easy for me but those who don't won't have ships designed for it, i.e. ships with high attack, or be used to the process of going through hundreds of NPCs to find the good ones.

The multi-account thing is a problem. Not sure how to get round that. All I know is I've got a few bane emitters which someone will want next week but I'll be scrapping them for a few tech parts.

Last year I saw exactly 0 Banes. I survived (and prospered I think) without them. Yeah they're nice bling, but not necessary equipment.

If you make these sendable, you have to make ALL the npc dropped modules sendable. Not a good thing. Upper tier npc mods (korteth stuff, encephelon cores, phase barriers, dark phase engines and such) help keep a balance. Imagine a rank 100 CCer buying up ship-bots like crazy and getting all the high level drops from friends. His damage cap would suck, but he would have a HUGE advantage over other ships at his rank.
