We should be able to get planet destroying weapons, ie Cyclonic torpedo's, Planet eaters AKA Warhammer40K On that note, you think it would be possible to have Themed missions? say Startrek, 40K, starwars etc...???? probably not would cost a bundle in rights... but who knows? |

Lol, the only use for a planet destroyer would be as an upgrade to purgers. BOOM! Goodbye very tiny sparse barren! Which could be cool if you could sift through the rubble and collect a set of amount of minerals based on the targets size.... Theme missions... no |

Sorry, no item like that will ever exist. How would you like to be in a war with another legion that someone else started and then suddenly your colossal 16x gaia gets erased? The only option I could see for this is what i stated before and even then it would only be usable on an unoccupied planet. |

It's realistic though. And how could you screw up a toxic planet? It'd have to be like terra or something, a weapon that can make all the life evaporate and turn it barren, hell you could stilll mine it even make it an ocean.... |

Planet cannibalisation engine: Rare base drop from lvl 4/uncommon from lvl5 base crate drop. Select two planets that you own. On the first planet, choose either size or production. The planet will either lose 2 sizes or 8 random production points. On the second planet, either the size will increase by 1 or each availability will increase by 2. If the targeted planet "loses" all it's size, it is destroyed (uncolonised and removed from everyone's database) Cannot make a planet go above 20X mega rich OR Massive. Also, it can only be used on "like" planets (eg. two volcanics, a desert and a crystal, dyson and metallic, two oceanics) |

Sounds like a reverse terraformer. Realistically that would lower the resources and who would want to do that? Or have it happen to them? |

Say you have a tiny barren that you accidentally colonised. You'd use this to enlarge your VL rich barren that you are going to turn sentient. You'd end up making a Massive, rich barren, and you'd destroy the rubbish barren, giving you another planet slot. |

How about this? Ct-Lab Item Shockwave Warhead Through intense subspace vibrations an unoccupied planet is reduced to rubble allowing extraction of resources from it's interior. Planet is subsequently destroyed and removed your database. Resources gathered are dependent on planet type and size. (Exact numbers would have to be determined) Cost: 10 star chart purgers, 50 omicron mine traps (or something...) |

That works too. It may be worth making a thread about "destroying planets". Also, a mass purger would be good. Something like: purges 5% of unoccupied planets that you have. Purging is random. Cost: Flares, purgers and positrons. |
