I really just want to see a nice all out war with all the top 20 legions involved

Ok, so i know there are a lot of threads about L vs L warfare, but just bear with me on this one, what im suggesting is to have Dan, for a special event of some duration, so the Top 50 strongest legions would be split into two sides at random, each team would have a name, so for example one could be the "Empire" and the other could be the "Rebellion" and for the week or month or whatever, ALL the legions would be fighting for one side or the other too win, on a point based system. now i know some will think it should be a tourney based thing, which was one of my thoughts two, but regardless if they get partnered up with some good legions in round 1, 2, or 3, there might be a simple fact of a rank 1 legion will fight a rank 50 wouldnt have a chance at all, so i figured that wouldnt be fare. As for a reward for the winning side would be something special for the winning legions base, some sort of Mod that maybe boosts ALL of its stats by some # (or percent in the case of resources) and a special Crest for every individual ship, that would actually show up on the ship, and also give some kind of Great boost to your ships status in some way shape or form,. please do build upon the idea as to what the Rewards should do or be called and hopefully it will be the next big thing like Bases |

love it. maybe even extend it to all legions. every other legion on the ranking system would be split onto one team or another, and each legion would have a chance to 'opt out' if they didnt want to deal with disables. ships would be one point, planets would be 5, bases 10. Ships that want to participate can have a zero space module they can install on their ship, and it would mark them as a soldier in their team, with maybe a +5 bonus to everything (hull, shields, energy, attack, defense, scan, cloak, cargo, decks, etc.) not a big boost, but a slight incentive. The winners can have their zero space module 10x, so it would be +50 to everything, whereas the losers would just have their zero space module remain the same (+5 to everything). The module can be uninstalled, but only once. this would remove the player from the war, and make them a 'civillian' in the war, so no points would be gained from killing them or stealing their planets. |

well, im not saying i dont like the idea and im just sharing how i came to the decision as too the top 50 ranked legions. but the reason i said top 50 is b/c theyd be prepared for it strength wise and if one team won then they would be like the limited few who won the war, and have a special Crest for winning for the year or however long. I mean i like the idea of being able to opt out, but that would probably be a leader choice and sometimes smaller legions leaders dont care or dont do the work. as for the +0 mod, i like the idea, but i dont think the losers should like keep that because, lets say, if i was a "rebel" and the "empire" won, then i wouldnt want to display my rebel alliance or it would be "Confiscated", and the reward for losing would be any plunder from the war itself. and i was also thinking that even if they lose, both the winning and losing side would get there points toward there Base energy to make it lvl a little quicker. |

I like it the Idea of a galactic war for story wise maybe we can describe why it is the tow sides are fighting and maybe after its over you can say I fought in the GW1 lol...will their be a GW2 lol |

I like it but i can also see people leaving their legions to join friends on the other side. If you let them choose a side, it would probably be a fairly even split. It would come down to being with Ni or the dysos |

well thats why i was thinking it to become one round thing so we dont get limited down to only two legions, but it would be nice to have people enter there own sides, but it would have to be a first come first serve type of deal, so the first 25 legions to claim a side would get that side. |
