This is a artefact that would enable a player to uninstall a artefact that has been used on their ship, but is no longer wanted. It would return it to your cargo bay and it could be reinstalled at a later date, or scrapped as desired. A ship version of a Mylarai Build Extractor. |

That was one reason yes. But it also has other tactical uses when reconfiguring your ship, after all, a artefact only takes up one space in your hold..... |
