After seeing a post in the pub about someone being attacked by a higher level player because of their name, (not sure if its been suggested) but maybe a program should be added to the game to stop names that people deem either inappropriate or offensive. i know in one game on facebook where you build a city (i wont say which one, but there are hundreds) i wanted to use a Aztec name but wasn't allowed because of the language rules (city name i wanted was Tenochtitlan and you can guess what part was deemed to fall under offensive/inappropriate).
For the players who currently have names that people think are wrong because of the offensive nature perhaps Dan could either rename them to their facebook name or just something like "Ship 2546846562" or something until they request a name change.

filters like that are too stupid.. they find something wrong all the time...
i played a game that had coding like that in their chat system as a bad word filter...
half of everyone's sentences were starred out because of it
needless to say that server side chat filter was turned off after a few days until it was re-written


for this game, the best solution is for users to send Dan an in-game message to report offensive issues as they find them
(and don't publicize them on the forums... Dan and Baci want reported events to remain private)
