I dont know i there would be much demand for this but i would love to see a new race that lowers colonisation costs. I know at higher levels as im approaching the colonising costs is getting on the high side not to mention invade costs even as a proffession it would be in close contention with the builder proffession for higher levels.

( E.G. Breeding like rabbits ) ability lowers colonization costs -50%.

I don't see much use for a race that only gives a bonus every 4 ranks. For me, that would be about one use every 2 weeks. Even for the "once a day" rankers, it's still 4 days between uses (when you get new planet slots).

it depends i can rank more than 4 a day and tbh in a week colonising 7-9 planets atm cost 5 billion minimun each so saving 20-25 billion

If people like to slow level and stay behind in the shadows thats their choice at the end of the day or pick a different race, all im saying for the higher ranks who have to pay 10 billion + up to some paying 50 per planet in extreme cases builder doesnt quite save u a dime compared to the reduction on a planets cost to invade

or maybe someone finally broke down and bought GP to dump all their sub par planets. Now there is an abondon timer.... but still, it would be a dozen or more planets in a week, potentially outweighting upkeep saving etc for a period of time
And well.... if it's someone who broke down and got GP to go on such a spree, what's 40 more for race changes?

I don't see this as a race that will be used on a permanent basis, but ppl might use this for some kind of short term planet blitz

As Darth said, essentially useless for most people. I think it would be better if it were an ability that could be activated once every 48 hours. Would require a mission chain of course, but doing that would give access to the higher ranks, it would limit its use (as in it wouldn't be useable for a planet colonizing blitz), but still relatively effective.

On the other hand, it's really not that hard to get the money. I mean, if you keep your mining up and such it's not so bad saving up to get a planet. It lets you take a look and get the best planet to take.

Take for example the mass amount of lower rank players who would be better vygoid or human for leveling suddenly need to do a lot of researching into the base tree and decide hmmm i need to start mass colonising research planets the option to build a load of planets once a month etc would eb ebeneficail to help them catch up faster

gp dumping planets is pointless at higher ranks as u can unlock more new ones faster.
also the maximise the benfit of this would basically go on a npc spree unlock 20-30 new planet slots not even 100 ranks easily doable within a couple of weeks.

K maybe not a race but an arti or a profession, theres more benefit from it than a lot of other race/professions combonations atm.

slow rankers are more likely to pick a profession that makes them better at attacking/defending. The profession can be highly recommended by a fast ranker.

technically not it has pros and cons e.g. at high rank to heavy npc and rank u pick kronyn drannik or lazuli, yes it could be used as in trhe sense farm up slots switch fill planet slots and then switch back at a players cost to pocket in gp.

I do admit its an idea/suggestion but invade/colonising costs can get sadly v high and a lot of the highest players dont bother invading as it costs more than a planets worth. In turn it benefits mid ranked players to grab mega rich x ( 1 - ** ).
