Post subject:  kill counts.

Dan I have asked before and i am asking again. can we please have more info on ships when we target them.


I would love to see a kill count. that says kills and killed by counts. and last time killed.

So when you target the player it says player X has killed you 5 times you have killed player X 4 times. last time attacked 14 hr ago.

too much system drain for something that very few would care about.

do you realize what you're asking for?

let's assume you have 10 players and everyone hits everyone once... you're looking at 55 records of data containing 2 user ID fields (lowest of the 2, highest of the 2), # of times lowest kills highest, and # of times highest kills lowest

now if it was 100 players... it's 5050 records
now if it was 100,000 players.... it's 5,000,050,000 records
true not everyone will attack everyone.... but there's still a great deal of active players... so there'd still probably be at least 5M records in that table
thus, a user vs user stat of any kind is way too much for a fast-paced game.... you won't see anything of the sort
