Although they are high Ranked. I dont want to be in their rank right now. No Lazuli Fabrication. No Silthion Queens. That has to Suck... But instead of making a new elite NPC why not make a matched. NPC for them. Say something that drops items comparable to L. Fabrication drops. and another npc that drops S. Queen Drops.
We need to reward people not penalize them for being high ranked.

I have to agree with this, There seems to be no logical reason why some NPC's like Fabricators and Queens drop away. Passive abilities are required for the entire duration of your game play. There are some new ones with the assassins, but that not as easy as it sounds to kill that many, to get something similar for passive abilities.
As far as energy is concerned there is never enough, the queens are a welcome addition to the boring NPC's that spawn. No matter what level you play at you will always need energy, we waste loads of energy sometimes when we wish to level up. It seems to make business sense to add a partial refill most people will walk away from the game if they don't have quite enough energy to do something while they are so close to leveling.
If the gamer has walked away there is no money.
anyway i hope that some senior content soon because even players like me are merely a a month or two away, i would hate to get bored.

Matched... ok.
New.. even better... but either way give them SOMETHING yes. To me these are the people who have driven this game, from the very beginning. In my opinion Dan (and yes all of us too) really.. really owe them. The problem is there is nothing but boredom as repayment. I see the whole face of the game changing. It was a living.. evolving thing... now I see more and more original players quit, and lose interest. Sure the newer players are ranking fast and doing well but I wonder how long til they follow suit as well. This should be a growing.. ongoing thing.. as the galaxy expanding is.. always more to explore, do and see. Not.. oh wow.. GL was such fun for a year.. then it's all over, been there done that... NEXT.
Dan.. for the game's sake.. listen to your high ranked players who have funded all you have around you... and do the right thing by them, and us.. as we will all be them in time.
Does it end?
or does it grow and continue?

Unfortunately I am over 1k now and I tried very hard not to but I wanted to kill a bunch of holiday npc's to get the drops not to mention getting the drops that we all get normally. I dreaded reaching rank 1000 so bad and talked about it a lot to the guys because of all of the things that I was going to lose and not gain.
Hitting Rank 1000 should be a great thing and something to strive for as well as rewarded for. We seem to lose all passive planet attack , defense and cloak as we level from losing the NPC's that drop them. It looks like a punishment for investing in the game to me.
It's not exciting at all. It actually sucks and I wish I didn't hit it right now. The only cool thing about it is that there are a select few in the game that have put a lot hard work and time in the game to get there. Now I'm trying to figure out why.
I used to look up at PSICore and wonder how he felt at the top after he passed up all of the NPC's that we could see. I know the game had to suck for him and he was at the top for a long time. He still is but he used to be the only one for a long time.
Anyways I feel like we need to be rewarded for making it this far in a few different areas.
1) Make a new weapon that we can buy at rank 1000 2) Give us an option to have a race plus two abilities maybe 3) ?
Give Dan some ideas what you would like to have at rank 1000 guys.

i totally agree.. after all the time and effort to work yr way up you get next to nothing to do.. so sad.. i think if dan doesnt do something very soon our bigger players will yes get bored and stop playing.. dan should reward these players for their efforts.. more npc's and missions and lets not forget more things to reaserch.. so for me its +1 +1 lol...

Just raise the max rank on the fab plant to 2000. Done, that is all I ask for. When I suggested "matched npc that drops cloak" to replace the lost fab above 1000 ranks ... I didn't mean "after you kill 120 of them".
I guess this is why some people are slow ranking.

It doesn't even really start when you get into the 900's. A lot of good stuff disappears at 600 so there are many people in their 500's that start to slow down their ranking speed. Something definitely needs done to keep the interest of the higher ranked players. If not, a lot will lose interest and quit (lost income Dan!). Granted there will be some that decide to reset and do it all over like BinaryMan but hell, he's into the 600's already the second time through. How long till even he loses interest?

Tell me about it. First we lost the Refineries then the the Prisons. Later it was the Titans and then the Queens and now I just lost the Fabrication Plants. Serious tell me why we should even buy energy to kill NPC's ? All it does is make us rank faster to lose everything.

Frail pretty much stopped ranking cause there aren't any useful repeatable missions for him and he got bored of farming drops. He can't afford to colonize random found planets (or rather it's not worth it) , so purgers are worthless. I can tell you from 8000+ purgers (sort of a record) finding planets is not interesting since I never found a Dyson and every single Exotic sucked in terms of size or it was xx mega mining (bah), making good planets from drops is the way to long term growth due to the cost. That means the entire game for me revolves around farming terraformers and optimizers. There is nothing else, not even missions. Ranking is merely a side effect of farming. It's a matter of whether resetting some of my prior decisions made it more efficient (like mission npcs and dropping junk planets, I only transferred my 15x planets which is cheaper than dumping all the junk). In the end only data analyzers were worth keeping and most of the missions gave rewards that could be indirectly replaced by something else (like resources and mods with inefficient deck usage, there are very few really good mission rewards). I already did the completionist thing and regretted it.
I learned from Frail, you can get 370 planets (mostly AP) to get 50-60k AP and get stuck, or you can more slowly make better 15x planets so that you never hit the colonize cost soft cap, which is the "true" resource cap for high rank players.
