Alright, this is an idea i thought of in another thread, it is an idea to turn off certain artifacts. the real life reasoning is, that if i didnt want the arties in real life i would just "leave it" to the planet to do as it wishes.

now as for the idea in more detail, my idea is to be able to "turn off" the ability to get certain artifacts you dont want, and somewhat increase the chances of you getting other arties. i mean the topic that made me think of this was the one about getting Mass Storage Pods. now i was thinking that maybe we could get the ability to turn off a certain # of arties, between 5 to 10 maybe, and it would be somewhat expensive after the first time you do it (which the first time would be free) lets say...150 nrg or more. The AP cost would stay the same, but this would make it so people wouldnt have such a large pain in the butt with getting a crapload of unneeded arties and complaining about it. now i know its based on chance but this is just making chances a little bit better, and gives everyone a little more of a chance to be happier.

IF this were to ever get put it, and it's a great idea, but I don't think Dan would do it, then it would be GP.

well i would have thought it would be GP too, but then it wouldnt fix anything as far as whining goes. i mean then people would whine more due to the fact they wouldnt be able to change the list if they decided, for whatever reason, that they needed the arties they once needed. i mean, he might not give us this, but Dan at least seems to work with the idea's if enough people like it, especially people who buy stuff.

Excellent, I'll turn of MSPs and a bunch of others and I'll leave on the Rescued Prisoners.

If you don't want artifacts, just scrap them. Most things (except for Ship Bots off the top of my head) have a use -somewhere- infinitely. CT Lab uses a bunch of stuff for various things.

MSPs and Ship Bots are the only things I can think of that people would turn off ...

well granted everything may have a "Use somewhere" type deal, it is still an annoyance to scrap them, i mean, yea, i may not want a Crystal Foci right now, but i still had to waste the AP for 12 of them in one pick up, which is retarded. its not like im saying, cut ALL but one down, but be able to only cut down say like only 5, so the list isnt as high. i mean yea, you have the CTlab, but in all honesty most players i know, dont like to wait till they can have enough building arties to make something and can collect the minor things rather quickly. like for example i had 69 COntainment cages that i was hauling around for the longest time, ive been saving them for a plasma starter, pretty much since we discovered how to make it here, and ive only been able to get 12 processor cores in the past 3 months because of my Ap being eaten up by lower arties that were a waste of points.

try using the traders to get rid off artifacts you dont want for ctp, kur or exotic matter there are some very good traders who are helpfull in the offloading of unwanted arts
