We want more people in game right? Whats the best way to do that? INCENTIVES!/the game being awesome. So what if there was a way to refer a friend to the game and gain rewards from it. Like for every friend you refer to the game that gets past rank 20 you get 5 GP or a free spin of the Galaxy Wheel or something? Now to stop people from abusing this id think there'd have to be a time limit on how often you can refer but I think if we gave incentives wed get more people. And thusly more moners for Dan.

I for one like Galaxy Legion more than all other Facebook games specifically because it has stayed away from this kind of practice.

Yep! GL needs good PR and need good AD system to get more players to try GL out.. Incentive is one of most efficient methods to have players to spread words about GL..

I agree with chrace, but mostly because games that offer incentives only do so if you started playing by clicking the referral link in question. What if I decided to give a game a chance because I noticed quite a few of my friends were playing it? I'd only be able to award one friend the referral reward even though my decision was based on multiple friendships, assuming I don't mess things up by starting to play without jumping through the right hoops to be counted as having been referred.

Perhaps if GL randomly picked an already playing friend to win a referral prize whenever this new player made progress toward rank 20?
