Post subject:  Base Drop alternative to Crates

I love the badge system to get stuff .. I think it works well .. however with base drops.. those in weaker legions will never have a chance to take down the bigger 5 and 6 bases so will never have access to the nicer artis .. what is you changed structure to something like this
Level 3 bases keep same way but rename silver to bronze (and change all current arti prices that are silver to bronze)
Level 4 Top 5 get silver badges 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 -1 all others get bronze as usual
Level 5 Top 5 get gold badges 54321, second 5 get silver 54321
Level 6 Top 5 get platinum 54321 second 5 gold third 5 silver remaining bronze as usual

Once a base is raided it shoud pay out similar to a smugglers cache (instead of base crate but keeping the same percentage successful chance to raid augmented by raiding bonus) paid out thusly
Level 4 2 hours production
Level 5 4 Hours production
Level 6 6 hours production
Level 7 8 hours production

(All raids would be increased by raid bonus percentages)

now for artifact purchases it should be a sliding scale

something like
Continuum Parser 5 Platinum Badges OR 30 Gold Badges OR 120 Silver Badges OR 600 bronze badges
Tri Phase 1 Platinum Badge OR 5 Gold Badges OR 20 Silver Badges OR 100 Bronze badges

This would make prizes available to all but at a significantly longer pace if all you do is tag

Best thing I've gotten is a triphase. It doesn't really excite me at the energy usage it takes on bases. I like the idea of selectable rewards, even if it takes longer to get the one you want.

Main reason right there why several of us poo-poo any ideas that even come close to suggesting that bases be stronger. Not enough people as it is can get the good stuff.

been in this road a couple of times but you would be surprised on how many people dont actually like doing the base fight.


so i stopped suggesting things that will not get any support.. Watch out you might also get some flak about this. Since some players dont really like the idea of getting their base disabled (no one likes to have their base disabled anyway).

due to the extra effort required to take down a higher level base compared to the level before it... i'd say
Level 4 = 2 hours production
Level 5 = 4 Hours production
Level 6 = 8 hours production
Level 7 = 16 hours production

I in no way am suggesting bases get harder.. I am merely suggesting rewarding the top damagers with something more significant then the same chance at a good item as a tagger.. I am also suggesting more rewards for disabling bases (raid will give a chance at production points instead of crates) which also still benefits those that put more effort into the base.. just saying you make artis available that are MUCH cheaper using the higher tier of badges .. you will have more people compete for the top spots then you do now ..
