I had the idea that it might change the game mechanics if some races were more vicious towards each other. If you did an increase in percent for attack by say 20% for humans and other vicious races and other more docile races had a 20% increase in defense while fighting their enemies it could make for an interesting implementation and ship equipping scenarios for players. It would still contain a sense of balance but players would have to think how to use this system to an advantage furthering the goal of this being more interactive than mafia wars. In the end all the vicious races would cancel out the bonus from the docile races, but not fully, as percentages differ depending on what sort of equipment you have. This combined with your evening out system for battle would, I think, implement smoothly.I don't think this should extend to planetary invasions but possibly defeating the ships surrounding it. This idea is 1 race to 1 race and not all viscous to docile races. Say human and vygoid for example or Konqul and Sillix. Maybe change the numbers to suit your tastes to find balance. If anyone else has any ideas on how they could implement the concept of enemy races into game terms then feel free to post it below. |

I think its fine how it is, maybe it might make the game more difficult, but I think its something that should be put in there somewhere but, sadly enough, I don't have the power to do so. |
