I suggest that each player be given the option to select a
single planet as home world.
Home worlds would have the same attack and defense attributes as high end mission planets.
Since a player's primary planet value is relative, someone who farmed a toxic planet to a massive mega x16 may very well have such as a primary.
Gaming time involvement to produce such a planet is considerable. The relative damage taken , in this circumstance, is equal to another player loosing a mission Dyson maybe. Which do have invulnerability.
Once a planet would be assigned as Home world, it would have to remain so for duration or until
A new Research Thread in political science
offers a limited number of options to move the seat of government to another planet using a scheme analog to the Glaviz device.
A Home world could not be sold or exchanged without account ending. One cannot govern an empire without a seat of government.
The option to adopt a planet as Home world should be available after a number of ranks (?) are achieved in order to avoid a clutter of them left by players who do not pursue the campaign.
