We all know at low ranks you can get an insane rep with a tin can, so it's really quite meaningless. You can NPC with a pretty awful ship, and rack up the battles and end up with Grand Legend/Insane with a pile of junk. What I would like to reccomend is on the ship stats you can see a "threat rating". This takes you stats, and their stats and compares them. Screenshots coming soon.

It sounds like you can use Spy Probes for what you're talking about. |

I'm not a big fan of the proposed new threat rating. That said, I think their should be a new rating after insane. It could be psychotic or psychopath. Could be inhuman. The only limits are the ones you impose due to your lack of a thesaurus. I mention this only because I passed the insane mark so long ago that I want a new shiny to differentiate me from all of the captains hovering around the edge of being insane. It just doesn't seem right that someone who's killed a couple hundred should have the same rating as me when I've broken the 1k barrier. *deposits two cents* |

-1 it would make probe useless if they aren't already useless enough I would rather dan add something like shield probe and hull probe, perhaps as drop or CT or whatever as those would be a bit more useful than atk/def probe. oh, and for low lvls, their officer amount and other passive boosts are probably pretty limited so.... install some scanners and check out their modules! |

I think the players name works just fine... After some time in the BT you will know who is a pain in the a%^ to kill and who badges you back. If your looking for a cheep kill find some one who's name you dont know. Out of my BT there is about a half dozen ppl i avoid not cause I cant kill them just that I can kill 4 people with the nrg that it takes to take them out, and the 4 other people will mot return the hit. |

I know you went to the dark side and all, became a sith. But your becoming a violent bad a#^ who scars people , A terror in the Bt , A nightmare come to life, That guy that all the GL girls seem to like..... Is that what you wanted ..
