Post subject:  Surprise Attacks

What I was thinking was an attack button (you could only use once, and cost double the energy of a regular attack) that initiated a surprise attack. The Battle experience of both players would determine the outcome of a surprise attack:

Critical Success - All enemy modules take on damage, lowering their condition by 10 (also deals 4x damage to ship)
Big Successs - 3x damage inflicted
Success - 2x damage inflicted
Fail - 2x damage taken
Big Fail - 3x damage taken
Critical Fail - All your modules take on damage, lowering their condition by 10% (also takes on 4x damage to ship)

I was also thinking that one could receive badges for successful surprise attacks.

What do you think?

NO on the module damage

Surprise would be more cloak VS scan... good concept, but needs reworking a bit in my opinion.

no, thats hacking. i think it should be...i dunno, but not scan Vs cloak. also -1 on the module dmg.

I just think there should be some way to "lower your enemy's guard" from a surprise attack. Maybe instead of taking on module damage why not lower the defense by 10%.

That's called an EMP Sphere and costs 5E to use. And they stack so you can lob as many as you want at them.

think size would be a factor a knife is easier to hide then a planet
