 temporal bypass artifact? or other name.

After reading some other forum threads from many of the users, I came up with an idea for an artifact,
I do not know if this has been mentioned before but i think it is worth posting.

reason for artifact;
lets say you did something (probably stupid on your part) to get attention of players WAY bigger than you and they decide as a group to make it impossible for you to play for the next two days, this artifact could afford you some means of defense.

limits(listing these first for the haters);
- can only be used on players that attacked you in the last hour, more than once in the last 24, are some % higher rank
- you have not attacked or alerted victim in 24 hours.
- will be removed if victim of artifact is attacked.
- does not affect anything but ship functions (attack, repair, artifact use- anything that is "on ship")
- any others as Dan sees fit (make it more costly for use as rank increases to slow abuse)

Use;
- puts attacking ship in a "time pause" stopping all on ship functions for 4 hours (no effect on planetary actions).
- designed to stop "pests" like guys way over your rank and size from farming you because you "badge hit" a guy in their legion.
- removable by time manipulator only.

this is not like the halcyon trap as it does not hit the users ship, it affects the ship attacking the user.

Any thoughts, tweaks or reasons for dislike appreciated, please post ALL ideas and thoughts so as to add to the pool of invention.

Most of the high ranks have heaps of TM's so they could uses a tm then attack again.

Make it a trap that is visable to all(so ppl won't run into it w/o knowing its there)
but unremovable by all means
ppl who fit the condition would trigger the trap when they hack, attack or raid you.
the trap will not disappear after being triggered, it will last a full 24 hours and its effect can apply to multiple ships.


I think this would suit your purpose better. And being fully visible, it will simply act as a "stay away" sign so u can't really complain about the OP nature of it(especially as you are ALSO bullying)

But there MUST be one more restrict at least: haven't invaded a planet in 24 hours(if not longer).
And also, this trap will not trigger from planet guard targeting, same as disable limit won't apply there.
