This idea can go both ways but it might or might not help in the long run. I'm just putting idea out there like everyone else, but suppose you are on vacation or something like that. You are way from any kind of internet so you can't log on. Someone tries to badge you, they knock out your traps. Someone else tries to badge you a couple hours later, you have no traps now. You get badged. I know Badging is part of the game and it sucks but remember just putting ideas out there. :)

If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe your ship will auto-repair. That will effectively block any further disables. Now, you might get 5 raids and 5 hacks (assuming you start at the lowest 3/5/5 mark), but that's not too bad since 1) those don't go on your record and 2) you will likely have capped your production and will likely recap before you return.

I believe there was talk about a 'vacation mode', but I don't know if that's going to happen or not.

As for this idea, -1

If vacation mode comes, I'm assuming it will protect the person. This idea, however, has a lot of very sketchy precedents. Aside from that, it's not really going to help anyways.

It does not exist yet, but I had heard the idea tossed around.

My main point was that this does not actually help those on vacation, but a 'vacation mode' would be more appropriate (with limitations of course).

current "vacation mode" make u stop paying upkeep after 72 hours of no logging in(from what i understand it)
I doubt there would be more


but seriously, other than the very rare crit hack(and 5 a day isn' really a lot of chances) and even rarer case of the crit hack being a good planet, you really don't lose anything if you are away anyway, as ur res will be capped regardless.

so there is no need for something like this IMO

frankly... traps don't actully stop crit hack....
