Post subject:  More badges for tougher opponents (And a red badge module)

Especially for reds.

My idea is to have "rank brackets" for PvP kills, keeping with the 40% rule.

eg:
1-150 = 1 badge
151-300 = 2 badges
301-600 = 3 badges
601-1000 = 4 badges
1000 + = 5 badges

This works in many ways:

Lower players are less likely to be badge farmed because the rewards are lower
You are rewarded for punching above your weight.
Higher players with fewer and tougher targets get more rewards.

Adaptive Thruster:
Limit: 4/ship
20 space, 150 defence
Cost: 150 reds

If you have 4 installed, you can choose one of the following bonuses:
Bonus 5% total defence
Bonus 10% defence from helmsmen
Bonus 15% defence when attacked

Only changeable every 48 hours.

i would agree to the 1-150=1 and 151-300=2, after that, i feel pvp is more or less the same (in term of energy required to kill vs time required to recharge that much energy, cause u also got better relay) so 301+ outa be 3 instead of further brackets

But if this is put in, every red badge item(maybe red yellow too) outa be 2 to 3 times its current price.
Overall, this will help rebalance badge farm ranges so badge farming in uber low lvl isn't so "golden"

true - with reds there could even be new modules that cost loads of reds to get.
And the brackets were only an example of what I meant.

That is alot better than the velox thruster and it only costs 150 reds,the dom mk3 gives 150 attack for 128 reds i think the cost for it should be idk 250-300, especially with those effects. But your idea is good +1,and +1 to your further ideas, your ideas are always good.

too good for so few badges... make it where it can't be changed, like the composite rays... you want a different config, you buy multiple sets

Like the idea, personally though I'd like to see an expendalbe red artifact, much like the bypass for blues, something like this maybe:

Cost 5 red badges:
Omicron Torpedo
target takes 400 damage

cost 20 red badges:
Thetacron Torpedo
target takes 2500 damage

cost 80 red badges:
Temporal Flux Destabilizer
target takes 5000 damage

Alternativly could use red badges to get Kironite torpedos

Cost 10 red badges:
Kyronite Torpedo

just thoughts.
