maybe a dropdown menu beside the search box so you can sort by flag color. as the way i have it. decent enemy planets are red.
mine are purple. and unoccupied are green for me. so to be able to search by flag color would be great

and that it takes up to much space to add flags. but how about dropdown and inside it say red flag. gold flag. green flag.
maybe have the words in that color as well
so RED. GOLD. GREEN

or have it so when you type (red) in the filter box, including brackets maybe, it would show the red flagged planets

the blue and purple being used are chromatically too close together
same goes for the yellow and green being used

people with certain color deficiencies only have 3 colors to choose from

Could you make the blue a little more distinguished? something similar to █████ would be good
and for the green, something closer to █████

in fact, these are the colors i'd suggest... green, gold, and red are distinct colors here... as well as the blue and purple

Right now, I use 3 flag types for different things. This is great, as filtering by flag means I can quickly find what I want, but it would be nice to be able to sort by the flag or filter by specific flags (type into the filter box "green" for instance) would be useful.

Oh yeah I guess there are a few colorblind people there... it sounds reasonable.

I know there's a lot of people asking to type a colour and only those flags show up. But how about making it easier? because seriously, you're only going to have about 10-50 (I'd guess) planets flagged.

Rather than filtering by colour, how about simply having them appear in colour order? Most people have a certain logic to their flagging anyway.

eg:
Colour - Planet
red - aaaaa
blue - bbbbb
red - ccccc
gold - ddddd
blue - eeeee
purple - fffff
red - ggggg

becomes:

red - aaaaa
red - ccccc
red - ggggg
blue - bbbbb
blue - eeeee
gold - ddddd
purple - fffff

I get mixed up/can't identify certain flag colours too

blue/purple and gold/green.

The big problems are on plasma, oceanic, toxic and desert planets because the flags are too close to the planet colours. Toxic 4 especially.
Also, sentient and some of the gas planets cause problems for me too. worst thing is a green flagged desert right next to a yellow flagged toxic - makes my eyes hurt and the two seem to merge.
