I just accidentally used a Mutagenic Cartridge, I went to click a Mass Storage Pod and the arti list shifted as i clicked so instead of clicking the MSP I clicked the Mut Cart Basically what I'm suggesting is a yes or no box to click on limited artis like the message you get when you choose to scrap an arti. This then rules out accidental use of the limited artis, saving people a lot of irritation and woe and would also save WGD time as I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who has done this and had to send a report to him. What do you think?

i think if Dan uses client-side javascript for the yes/no instead of making it server-side scripted like all current yes/no boxes, it'd be a lot easier and quicker and he can apply it to everything

If you use a limited item accidentally you can just ask Dan to give it back. I scrapped my Octafari Holo-disguise before the confirmation update and he gave it back. Darth accidentally clicked his Glaviz Device and Dan gave it back. No biggy, Dan's a nice guy with these things.

I've been told Dan is very reasonable with these mistakes but with a yes no box he would have more free time to make us some shiny new mods, npcs and missions lol

Yeah, if he's willing to give an artifact back then it seems like he might as well add the confirmation button to that artifact.

Yep, Dan's real good about fixing our screw-ups, but I have to agree. After as many screw-ups as he's had to fix, he could have made an Are You Sure button. He'd be off the hook then. "Hey Dan, I scrapped a Glaviz Device, can you replace it?" "Nope, you clicked Yes you were sure, tough luck dude..." I mentioned adding a confirmation button the last time I FF'd a Glavitz and he said they would look into possibly adding one, so it's probably on the list.

of course whether he uses client side coding or server side coding for it......... he will still get people saying "I accidentally clicked yes cuz it was right next to the no and my mouse slipped or an earthquake happened or something"

Yeah, it was just a joke, like needing a note from your doctor if you're out of school. It was funny. : P

This should be coming soon. Thanks all. Note that it will not apply to 'all' artifacts - only certain ones that are not commonly used or special purpose.

It happened to me using Tevrazon Gas, so I think it's in there.

And before y'all ask why the TriMat gets it but the Ecube doesn't... I already asked Dan, and here's his reply... webguydan wrote: We based the list on the # of tickets we receive for 'accidental uses'. In other words, either we didn't screw up enough ecubes, or we didn't bother complaining when we did... lol

The Tri seems 2-3x as common as the cube anyway.
